Quite mediocre, the plastic parts on the bottom broke. On one hand, it doesn't compress or expand like other ones, on the other hand, it doesn't have quality plastic and lacks ergonomic design (handle, side hook). I wouldn't choose it again
It toasts well, although not very quickly. As a device, it is beautiful. The hook on the side is intended to keep the plates closed during storage, not during use. Its disadvantage is that although the plates do not scratch easily, they burned in the areas where the resistors are located almost from the first days, while the only thing we had toasted was just a sandwich. Of course, this is not something that can be cleaned, aesthetically it gives a bad impression, and logically it is also unhygienic.
I have had it for 2.5-3 years but I wouldn't say that I am very satisfied. It heats up a lot, but in order to cook properly and crispy, I have to wait for 15 minutes. Because of its design, it doesn't cook quickly. But it is definitely not a bad grill. I find it average to good.
POSITIVES
- Lightweight
- Low power consumption
- Beautiful
NEGATIVES
- Burns toast!
- Poor construction
RESULT
Return of the product as defective, and refund
ADVICE
If you are going to return the product, make sure to take a video showing that it burns toast. Otherwise, the store will try to claim that you don't know how to use the toaster correctly (as if it were a spaceship).
In the first few days, it toasted the toast agonizingly slowly, with great difficulty, and the result was not satisfactory. After a while, it started to toast a little faster and the top plate began to burn the bread in one spot. After 1.5 months, it simply burned all the toast! The thermostat did not turn off and the toast turned into charcoal in 10-20 seconds.
In the end, I returned it through the Skroutz return process. The store refunded my money after communication and after I sent them 2 videos proving that the toaster was defective
I had a previous Izzy toaster that broke after several years, so I ended up with this one because it is beautiful and compact.
So far, the positives.
-moderate build quality
-the plates are not detachable
-the lid does not properly adjust to the desired angle, resulting in the top slice of toast ending up further than the bottom, as it pushes it diagonally :D
-it does not toast evenly
-the lid does not stay upright!
-the cord is very short. It doesn't bother me because it is next to an outlet, but it will be difficult for others. Strangely, the box mentions a "cord storage" system, I am still looking for it :D
-...and the worst part, it makes the worst toast I have ever made. It is very weak, it takes a LONG time to make one toast, and because of these two characteristics, you end up with a toast where the bread has simply dried out, while the cheese has not melted after many many many minutes.
Very good toaster, heats up quickly, makes crispy toast and doesn't stick... We have had it for two months and use it every day, morning and afternoon, it also makes a fantastic omelette!!
The ceramic plates do not toast the bread so quickly. However, it does its job. I think it's okay for the money I paid. I like that it is small and elegant.
I was not particularly satisfied with the purchase of this product. It is truly non-stick and can toast up to two classic sandwiches with square bread. It heats up quite quickly and reaches a specific temperature so that the toast does not burn. I left two slices of bread to toast, forgot about them for over 10 minutes, and when I remembered, they had just slightly browned. However, anything harder than crumbs, such as a roll, ciabatta, or baguette, slips and reaches the edge, and if you're not there to hold it, it gets ejected from the toaster. At some point, I will try to cook meat or fish on it, but for now, I avoid it because it does not have a fat drainage feature like the Izzy Joy that I wanted to buy and couldn't find until I bought this one.
The worst toaster I have bought. It doesn't toast evenly and the closure is on the side, so it closes on one side and remains more open on the other. The locking mechanism is fake, you're afraid it might break...
Firstly, I should mention that the plates are not ceramic but have a ceramic coating. Not that it makes a big difference in anything. Nothing sticks and they are easy to clean. At least until the coating wears off.
It doesn't burn the toast and toasts it in a decent amount of time, but if you put something like a pita bread sandwich, it takes longer because the top plates are not heavy and there is no pressure. 800 watts, common for toasters at this price.
It comfortably fits 2 slices of toast, which is a positive thing for the design since it is a small toaster.
On the right side, it has a clamp and many people think it is for applying pressure when toasting the bread. However, it is for transportation/storage purposes and besides that, it only applies pressure on the right side, so the sandwich doesn't toast evenly. One thing I would like it to have, something that almost all toasters have, is a clamp in the middle.
For someone who likes their toast burnt, this toaster is not for you. But for someone else who wants it to be normal and save space with a nice design, it is a good choice.
I don't have an opinion on whether it lasts long or if it is cheaply made, but it is probably average like all others at this price.
For the money, it's fine. It fits two regular square sandwiches, toasts them in a reasonable time, you just need to press them a little with the weight from the top of the toaster at the beginning. The safety latch on the side is ONLY for storage, not for locking the toast inside! It's beautiful and fits comfortably in a drawer. I would have liked a slightly more even toasting though...
I'm trying to be positive but I can't. Maybe it's the fact that no matter how long you forget it inside, the toast WON'T BURN. The plates are good but not detachable. The top part is foldable, not fixed, resulting in it not closing properly and scattering the toast, especially with hotdog bread. I wouldn't buy it again
A simple, cheap toaster. Average construction, fast cooking.
It doesn't burn them, but if you stuff the toast, it doesn't cook evenly.
It fits two regular supermarket square breads or one large one.
Overall, it's average, but the better ones are too expensive for a toaster.
The toaster was purchased for simple everyday use. Reading the reviews, I burned its plates for 1 hour in an open ventilated space, and after this process, it did not emit any odors during its operation.
The plates heat up quite quickly and the toasting is uniform. It easily fits 2 sandwiches.
Cleaning is extremely simple, as residues do not stick to the plates, which can be cleaned very easily.
I made the mistake of also seeing the comments and bought this toaster.
Wasted money, guys. Reject it!
You can't make a proper toast with it!
When the two plates of the toaster close securely, they leave a very small gap. As a result, you get a toast with two thin slices of bread. And just two slices of cheese, pressed so much that they came out like one slice. The pressure made the cheese fly out. Something exploded.
Also, it burned within 1 minute.
-If you don't close the toaster securely and let it cook with its own weight (non-existent weight), you need half an hour in water to make a toast. Which will turn out good.
But the electricity you will spend tells you to better order delivery!
Don't try it, guys.
The 800W of the toaster make it capable of toasting 2 slices of bread very quickly, making them crispy. It does not have temperature control, but it has an indicator light to show when the automatic thermostat is functioning. The anti-thermal handle is a plus, as it facilitates its use.
Another advantage is the hinged connection of the top plate (the top plate rotates to press on the entire surface, even large slices of bread or sandwiches, and to toast them evenly) and the plates with the granite coating.
It has a locking handle on the right side that prevents it from opening, as well as a simple cable winding system, making it easy to store even in an upright position.
Beautiful design with a combination of deep red/black that will match any kitchen.
The only additional thing I would like is for the cable to be longer and for there to be an on/off switch.
Choice for home use. I have used it a few times and I have to say the following: the positive aspects are the fast cooking, the nice design, the small size, the easily cleanable plates, and the price.
As for the negatives, it doesn't have an ON/OFF button (you simply have to plug it in and unplug it), and in a simple sandwich, while the bread was toasted, the cheese and ham didn't melt.
These are minor details, so overall it is a decent sandwich maker.
Within a few months and after minimal and careful use, the handle broke and a few days later a piece of the top cover broke off. It is completely "fake" and cheap. I do not recommend it to anyone...
