My baby is choking and milk is running out of his mouth. We got a different brand of bottle and the problem was solved
Well, hello, don't buy another NUK bottle again, it's totally useless. The pharmacies say it's the best, but that's just because they want to sell a product that you'll need to buy again. I went back to get another one; I bought three NUK bottles thinking maybe one was faulty, then I got another one, and it was the same again. I got another one, and it was the same again. Enough already! I got the Chicco bottle, and there's a big difference. I gave it one star, and that's too many
I don't think it's suitable for a newborn. When I used it in the first few days, the baby was choking (it has a high flow for 0-1 months). Now that he is 2 months old, we are okay. Also, it broke inside the sterilizer, but it might have been a random incident; however, I didn't notice it and happened to see it (a break at the top where the pacifier screws in)
Perfect baby bottle with a temperature indicator, the most important for me as a new mom, made of glass which is considered a healthier material compared to plastics. We were gifted the same one in a small size at the maternity hospital and since then I have bought more as it was exactly what we needed. After many uses and sterilizations in boiling water, they have not suffered any damage.
The nipple it wears (0-6 medium) is not for a newborn. The baby chokes and there is milk leakage. The only bottle that is really for colicky babies and has the appropriate flow for a newborn is Dr Brown's. I will keep it in case it is used after 6 months
Unacceptable! The baby is 5 months old and still cannot drink with this bottle, it chokes! We tried the S size because we thought the M size was the problem, but it still chokes! The worst bottle by far!
I give 2 stars for the good quality as a bottle and convenient in size.. but for a newborn with the size M pacifier it is not at all suitable.. we continued using this bottle because they gave it to us at the clinic.. the baby was very nervous and constantly crying when drinking from it.. the pacifier has a high flow rate, causing the baby to choke.. it also leaks a lot of milk.. half of our milk was wasted from the side.. I would not choose it again.. we switched companies and everything is fine now!
With other milks, the truth is that it didn't suit us at all. It runs a lot.
However, we changed milk for constipation and it is thick and it is the only bottle that suits us for this milk. I believe it's in the baby. How will he accept it? Okay, for us, we only use a different brand for this milk.
Unacceptable baby bottle! The company claims it is for 0-6 months, but the baby is now 5 months old and still chokes, resulting in a lot of irritation and refusing to drink the rest of the milk and spitting it out. Only with this bottle does the baby choke, not with any other brand.
Our newborn baby accepted it very easily, unlike another bottle of a well-known brand that we tried.
Quality bottle but not suitable for newborns due to the nipple it comes with. Also, the whole sterilizing and then putting the lid for shaking and removing it, so you lose the sterilization by touching it........ Come on, couldn't this system be changed?
Update 12/11/22. For newborns, you need to buy the Small nipples because these bottles come with Medium ones. Big mistake by NUK!!!
This bottle is definitely not suitable for a newborn who primarily breastfeeds! With every sip, our baby chokes due to the fast flow of the nipple. I do not recommend it at all for the early stages.
Update: Our baby is now 6 months old and has started solid foods. He now drinks water comfortably from this bottle. He just had to reach 6 months in order to be able to drink without choking.
The bottle is not to blame, it depends on the baby. At first, my baby didn't accept it because it was too small, but now I only have Nuk bottles. They have a small flow for us, and I also make another hole
Our baby is choking because of the flow of this pacifier and after the stress, he becomes upset and doesn't want to eat anymore. We have a point of comparison as we also use a pacifier from a competing company, which has never caused choking.
The nipple size M for 0-6 months is NOT suitable for a 2-month-old baby. The milk flows uncontrollably and the baby chokes. My husband is looking for a size S nipple, let's see. Other than that, it is of very good quality.
The baby cannot suck the milk, no matter how hard it tries, we did not use it at all, it's the worst
Unfortunately, these specific baby bottles did not work for us at all. The baby would drink a lot of milk, choke, swallow air, and as a result, would have hiccups afterwards. They are supposed to be anticolic, but for me, they are not effective against colic. It's a well-known brand, but personally, I would not recommend them.
I have never tried worse honestly. The milk comes out like a mess no matter what you do. The baby chokes
They gave it to me as a sample, but if this is a colic system, then you might as well poke my nose! The baby swallows a lot of air, resulting in pain! Additionally, the bottle leaks and the nipple is difficult to put back on after sterilization, requiring a lot of force, and you have to hold it with your hand. STAY AWAY
If this is an anti-colic system.... The baby swallows too much air, resulting in not being able to sleep even though I burped him 8-9 times. Waste of money, we will try again after the 4th month, until then only Dr. Brown's
Not suitable for babies at all as it causes a lot of gas. In my opinion, they are not worth it. I only saved with Dr. Brown's
The only thing that their baby accepted for the first 2 months. 4 stars because 1 out of the 3 bottles came with a rubber nipple while the order clearly stated silicone
As I understand it, whether a baby accepts a bottle has to do with the baby itself. But ours didn't get along with the nipple at all. He couldn't suck on it and after several attempts, we used a different bottle. The nipple was too hard and small with an uncomfortable shape for our baby.
The baby (3 months old), every time we tried, was choking or losing milk. He never adapted to this nipple, as he accepted the chicco one. Also, the cap that goes between the bottle and the nipple to prevent milk from spilling when you shake it is not convenient at all... putting the cap on, screwing the bottle, shaking it, unscrewing it, removing the cap, screwing the bottle again, and so on. So, in order to see if the temperature is ideal for the baby, the above process needs to be done more than 2-3 times for sure, which is a waste of time!
It was our first bottle and it was accepted relatively easily. For a glass one, it is quite lightweight and user-friendly. It does not leak milk.
Very good solution, we are satisfied. It is good to purchase the same brand but in a larger size to use it for the next months when they drink more
Having used bottles from 3-4 different brands, I can say that with this specific nipple from NUK, it is extremely difficult for milk to leak when the baby is drinking. However, after relatively little use, the bottom cracked.
I received the baby bottle as a free sample. Unfortunately, it did not work for our baby. Although she accepted it, it was not as easy as the two others we use. She also did not like the nipple as she sometimes choked on it (even though the size was correct). I also did not like the nipple's 'locking' mechanism because it required force and pulling to insert, and it did not fit with the handle at all. I had to hold the nipple with my hand, which was not possible after sterilization. It's a shame because so far, it is the only product from the company that we did not like.
