  The Canon RP-108 is possibly the most economical paper package for the Selphy CP-1200/1300 series printers. Consistently good quality and low price (under €0.30 per photo, depending on the package price).

  The papers are of very good quality. It includes 6 packs of 18 papers each (i.e. 108 papers) and 2 ink cartridges that correspond exactly to 54 photos each. If the papers and ink cartridges do not run out together, you have made a mistake... or your printer has an issue. The ink cartridges essentially consist of a roll that contains 4 layers (yellow, magenta, cyan, transparent) for each photo. With these 4 layers, which are printed onto the paper with heat, it captures all the colors in combination with the three mentioned colors. So, mathematically it is calculated that the papers and ink cartridges are exactly matched. Whether you print only one color or print everything, the ink cartridges will run out when the papers run out... I have uploaded photos of a used ink cartridge roll for you to see.

  If you are the type of person who says, "I can't be bothered to run and print..." and your wife says, "Oh, it was nice when we used to print photos, when will you (me?) print these few of the kids?" (from a 10-year-old file!), then you get one of these, show her how it works, and now your worries are limited to searching for deals on consumables.
