I have similar drill bits with threads on the tip. They are suitable only for strong drills and not for delicate work because due to the threading, they pull downwards (screw in) and if your drill is weak, it gets stuck and throws debris around the perimeter of the circle

The specific drill bit that is supposed to help with drilling, makes the drill stick to the wood sometimes, especially on plywood
