For its price, it's very good, it works perfectly, I got it along with headphones. Everything is great so far!
First of all, this one is European and operates on PMR frequencies. The UHF 400-470Hz mentioned refers to the capabilities of the walkie-talkie, as it is sold in many countries that have channels corresponding to PMR on other frequencies within the UHF range. However, this does not mean it is legal, as it has a removable antenna of ≈5W, while the official government document clearly states that it must have a non-removable antenna up to 500mW. Also, theoretically, it can be programmed if you buy the right equipment, which is VERY illegal, but this applies to most walkie-talkies of this kind. In any case, it is very good for its price with incredible range and construction that withstands almost any kind of impact, but there is a lot of misinformation regarding legality in Greece.
Excellent sound and coverage at a great distance or inside an apartment building! Given the minimal time of transmission in each communication, the increased power is not a problem!
In general, they are good, but when you try them in the mountains, even at a distance of 200 meters, the signal easily gets lost and you don't get good sound
When you go to charge them, it's hard to find the right spot where the wireless fits on the charger!
because the job I use it for is great
I bought it but I am confused with the comments and reviews that most people have made. For the money, it is definitely worth it, but I can't understand if it needs a license or not. I have two stores and I want to leave one. One of them requires a license, but the other doesn't. I have asked in three stores and they told me that it doesn't need one. I also asked in another store and they said it's the first time someone asks something like that and laughed because they said it's not necessary for the 12 € it costs. What can I say? I give it five stars because for the money, it's top-notch
I didn't give it 5 stars, just because its base is a bit difficult, it doesn't attach easily to charge. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars,
Otherwise, it is excellent, for its price it is more good than I expected.
Clearly, it requires a radio amateur license, clearly, it has a high dose of radiation and should not be used continuously, especially by children. However, in Greece in 2023, there is no control, so use it without fear. On an island during the summer, the kids played with it 1-2 times and caught frequencies of ships, port authorities, police, and anyone in the wider area. From a balcony with a view, the range can reach several kilometers. At some point, a port authority officer told us to change the frequency because we were interfering and it was annoying + illegal, but it doesn't matter, he told us and we simply changed the frequency. Anyway, it's quite funny to hear the jokes they tell among themselves, the ship captains!
For use among employees in a hotel. It works seamlessly in combination with silicone earbuds, it's the best.
For amateur use, it is perfect. The kids are thrilled and their battery has satisfactory duration.
I do not have this specific wireless product. However, after reading the reviews, I thought it would be appropriate to mention the following: because many people buy it for home use or even worse, for gaming, I recommend consulting an expert regarding the radiation it emits. Someone correctly wrote that it is not UHF with 0.5 watts of power, but VHF with 5 watts of power... I would not give it to my child for everyday use... It also seems that what was written is true, it requires a radio amateur license.
Very good choice even for gaming. It can also be used for recreational activities.
The tool is rubbish, I read reviews and bought it, but it didn't say that it needs charging for half a day and you can only use it for the rest
For its price, it's just what you need. Good range, I can speak at a distance of almost a kilometer. At work, the battery lasts the whole shift with plenty of talk. The speaker seems a bit average in terms of quality, but that doesn't mean you can't hear or be heard. The battery is worth as much as any other wireless one, so it's better to get another one if you want an extra battery. The price difference is 4 euros.
WARNING !!!!! The purchase and possession of this specific wireless device is ILLEGAL without a radio amateur license. I bought it myself for my children and during a car inspection, they found one of the two inside. They took me to court and I "served 9 months in prison with a 3-year suspended sentence and a €7500 FINE!!! I hope I saved someone......
Excellent for its price. I bought it for communication from one end of the house to the other (so I don't have to shout) and I was very satisfied. It also had signal when I went down to the basement (3 levels down). In the city, I "lost" signal after 1 kilometer. In rural areas (forest/mountain), it had signal for another 2 kilometers and a bit more.
Sometimes I pick up other people's conversations. When it starts notifying for low battery, it beeps every 10 seconds and it's annoying.
The connection with the charger needs to be done carefully, because you can plug it in, see the green light on, but it doesn't charge. It needs to be properly connected, so when the charger is plugged in, the light turns red.
I spoke at 2.50: kilometer (Agios Makarios, Prophet Elias) which is an open field and I had a few problems, where I want to end up is that everything is good inside this blue and white box!!
I bought it for communication at work and in one, the jack doesn't work and the earphones don't work, and in the other, you can hear but you can't be heard. Overall, it's a mediocre purchase. Unfortunately, the battery is very limited. I will probably give it to the kids to play with
I caught others on the frequency once as well, but generally if you change the frequency, you will be alone. Very good quality, sturdy. If you want it for a children's game, I suppose something of lower power will do the job well.
Very good call quality but the batteries out of the 4 that I bought are all defective and easily lose contact. They also do not search for frequency, but use 14 fixed channels, which is good for me but not for someone who wants more flexibility
For its price, simply perfect. In the densely populated area of Athens (with buildings interfering with the wireless signal), it has a range of 300 meters without any interference. At 350 meters, it becomes difficult to notice any difference. I haven't tested it yet in an open space, but I believe it easily reaches 400 meters. The best purchase
They are great for their price, but be careful, they require a radio amateur license, they are not walkie talkies.... Because I see comments from many people that they use them in public places, if they report you and catch you with them, you will get into trouble....
I got it for the kids & it's really perfect, in every aspect (easy to use, satisfactory range, durable, etc). It's worth its money.
Very good choice!! It has a very long range and clear conversation... the only issue I had was at some point when I was trying to figure out how they work, another signal appeared with another person that I don't even know where it came from since there were no houses nearby...
Dear friends, although the product is marketed as walkie talkies, in reality I believe that it requires a radio amateur license in order for someone to use them legally. This is also the reason why it performs exceptionally compared to the market's PMR devices. The legal PMR devices on the market (which do not require a license) transmit at 446 MHz on 8 different frequencies with a maximum power of 0.5 Watt. These specific devices operate between 400 and 470 MHz at 5 Watts, on 16 preselected channels which, as far as I know, are not freely available to the public. For those who are interested in complying with the law... they should investigate it themselves.
Very good in use, very good quality in conversation, but the batteries had a problem in 2 out of the 4 pieces I purchased
I bought it for home use and I am thrilled. The PTT has instant response and very clear sound. For its price, I consider it excellent, although I am an amateur without experience
We don't discuss it. Unbelievable. Great range and clear sound. I got it for the kids and they can't stop playing with it. Get them. Very low cost.
It's perfect. I use them myself and the kids in a three-story house. Sound is excellent. It's everything we need.
