I have been using the cream for 6 weeks and I have normal to combination skin with a tendency for acne. I apply it morning and night after cleansing all over my face and locally on the pimples that appear, especially on those whiteheads. When I apply it locally on the pimples with pus, I feel a slight burning sensation which goes away within a few minutes. I noticed that it dries out the pimples and leaves a layer on top of them, which goes away after a few days, leaving new skin underneath and thus making them disappear. It absorbs easily and does not leave a greasy feeling, suitable even for dry skin. I can't say that I don't get any pimples because I have severe acne-prone skin, but it definitely helps heal them and they disappear faster compared to before. I hope my review helped!
I have genuine leather and I have been using creams from 2€ to 100€ and I never had a problem. I tried this cream during two different periods and it tightens the bags under my eyes and I feel like it's burning my face, I don't know why

The worst cream I have ever used. I had recovered from acne and using this specific cream caused my pimples to fill up with pus again. I thought I would give it some time to see if it was a coincidence, but there was no result. Every day my face got worse. It ended up in the trash half full.
It is very heavy if you spread it all over your face, personally I avoid it because I have very sensitive skin.
I apply it directly on pimples and the surrounding area, resulting in them drying out and healing much faster. I don't consider it a solution for acne, if you're looking for something like that, a much better option would be the corresponding serum from the same line.
The rare times I use it on my entire face, I apply a simple moisturizer or gel beforehand. This way, my skin doesn't burn or get irritated. In any case, if the skin is wet, it will burn more.
I wouldn't recommend it for use as a moisturizer, but for quick relief from pimples, it does a very good job for me. I have been using it for 4-5 years. I would say it is a product worth having on your shelf for emergencies.

Very nice and as a makeup base, however it does not moisturize enough. It regulates oiliness and leaves the skin matte.
Although now at 40 I found what I wanted... I was searching for years to find a cream that would do the job... I changed a bunch of creams... the suitable one for oily skin with tendency to acne... the pimples and blackheads decreased... in combination with retinol and niacinamide from the same line, it works wonders... from me, it's a yes!!!
I have combination skin with a tendency for acne when I don't wash my face or touch it. I have been using this cream for years before applying my moisturizer when there is a breakout, and it brings my skin back to normal. Generally, it is not enough on its own for hydration, especially if there is a tendency for dryness. In the beginning of use, there was a breakout but then it started to really work!
The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the quantity of the packaging. It should have more, even if they increase the price a little.
I bought this cream because I read such good reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Every time I applied it, the next day I had pimples on my chin and nose. It's a shame because I had high hopes for this cream.
It effectively helped me with acne. The days that I use it morning and night, I don't have any pimples. If I forget to use it for one day, they come back, as it is normal for me. Before this, I tried the effaclar soap, the serum, and the duo with sunscreen.
So far, only this one on its own produces noticeable results (the next day)
I have normal to oily skin with a slight tendency for acne. I have been using this product for over half a year, as well as the corresponding SPF30 version every morning (and in combination with the effaclar serum at night), and I have noticed a significant difference. It's not that I no longer get pimples or that they magically disappear, but they definitely occur less frequently, my skin is healthier and moisturized, and the marks seem to fade faster now. These products may be a bit pricey for the amount, but in my case, they work satisfactorily and I don't change them.
I have quite oily skin prone to acne and this was truly the best cream I have ever used. It absorbs easily, has a perfect scent, and leaves a light feeling. It is perfect for oily skin prone to acne, it does an amazing job!!!
I had tried it in America and it was very good, coming to Greece I went and bought it again. No comparison between the European version and the American one. The Greek version (because they have changed the ingredients as some do not meet European standards) gives me more acne and is very dry on my skin. It's a shame because I definitely won't buy it again. I give it 2 stars because surprisingly it doesn't cause my sister, who has acne issues, any further problems, but I don't think it helps her much either.
30-year-old man with combination-oily skin and mild acne tendency.
At first, I really liked its absorption but for some reason (I suspect allergy or intolerance to one of the ingredients) it damaged my skin (skin barrier).
After applying it, I had stinging and tingling sensation and the area around my nose became excessively dry. I developed redness and had increased pimples, which I believe is due to the damage to the skin barrier. I stopped using it and went back to Effaclar K+ (which works much better for my skin in treating imperfections and pimples) and within two days the discomfort subsided.
Wonderful! Works great to soothe pimples and facial swelling, for mild acne. It has a mild scent and absorbs quickly, however it is not moisturizing and you need to apply a moisturizing product after using it. I highly recommend it.
It calms and reduces acne breakouts after multiple applications, although it doesn't work well on larger pimples, it is more suitable for mild acne. It slightly improves the marks. It dries out the skin a little (I have oily skin). It also has a slightly oily texture and doesn't absorb well, it feels like a layer. Finally, the packaging lasts about 1 month with one application per day on the entire face.
Without many words, at least for combination skin with tendency for acne, I consider it to be one of the top value-for-money choices
I give it 5/5 because for the past 10 days that I have been using it, I see a remarkable difference in my pimples, I haven't had any for days. Also, it is indeed a good foundation for makeup. Try it, you have nothing to lose.
I have combination/oily skin prone to acne. Currently, I don't have any pimples - only marks. In the 3 months that I have been using it, I haven't had a single pimple, while in the past I used to have them almost daily. I use it together with a vitamin C serum (+ sunscreen in the morning) and I truly believe that I have been saved! It definitely needs moisturizer afterwards, especially if your skin is dehydrated. It has a very mild scent that disappears once absorbed. I also use it as a base for makeup. I will definitely buy it again!
P.S. It is strictly prohibited to use it in the under-eye area! The company itself has stated this many times.
Amazing cream for combination and oily skin. Light texture, easily absorbed, which means it doesn't clog or block pores. I went through a hormonal phase with pimples and basically used this cream, a hyaluronic serum, and the Effaclar cleanser. The pimples and redness disappeared within a few days! Definitely worth it!!
Oily Skin with mild acne: I like it as a cream. I'm not sure if it reduces pimples because I use it in combination with other products. However, it is very light and moisturizing. Now I'm finishing my second package and I will buy it again. It is a product that I want to have in my toiletry bag.

Excellent cream for oily, acne-prone skin. It does not cause shine and absorbs immediately. At the same time, I feel that it adequately moisturizes, at least my own skin. I have tried several creams in the past that were for oily skin, but the result was that they dried out my skin and made it tight after a while. This specific cream does the exact opposite! I have been using it for about a week, and I haven't had any breakouts since then. It may be a coincidence... I will come back after some time.
I had bought it more expensive than all the local ones I have tried because I had seen impressive reviews. Definitely a staple in my routine!! It is highly effective, although, because I have combination, sensitive skin, my skin needs a few days of application to get used to it as it gets irritated, so I recommend doing a patch test before using it on the entire face. The combination of salicylic acid + niacinamide is miraculous, as it eliminates pimples almost from one day to the next and is ideal for acne, but it also helps - to some extent - with black spots. Also, the quantity-price ratio is 10/10, the last time I bought it, while using it morning and night every day, it lasted me 4+ months. It is a very easy product and a very good start to a skincare routine.

I have gone through a lot with my acne issues, I had used many creams until I came across the La Roche Posay brand. Although theoretically I have mild acne, I have been troubled by the marks, scars, and blackheads on my face.
Using this specific cream, I saw results within a few weeks and I can confidently say that after about a year with this Effaclar skincare routine, my face has cleared up, it is smoother and without acne problems.

I bought this face cream as I saw many good reviews, and its description matched my case. For 10-11 euros, it's worth it fully, I use it on my neck for redness after shaving and it does a great job
