  I used it on an old 2003 Ford Focus that had never had its engine cleaned before. I didn't use a brush or any other tool, I simply sprayed it with foam.

  Considering that the engine had never been cleaned, some areas didn't get completely clean. However, overall the engine was degreased without any difficulty.

  Due to the amount of dirt and without ever having water on it, I repeatedly sprayed foam in many areas that had a lot of oil or caked dust. That's why I used two bottles for the first time.

  If you want a very good job, you definitely need a brush or a combination with water washing. But even just the foam alone will remove a lot without any effort.

  I will definitely use it again since it is a fairly inexpensive product compared to others.

  I used it on my scooter because it was losing oil from the flanges and creating dirt everywhere in the engine, resulting in poor cooling during the summer. I sprayed it when the engine was dry. It creates a white foam (like shaving foam) that smells like gasoline. Within 5 minutes, most of the oil was gone and then I washed it off with soap as usual.

  It easily dissolves surface dirt. However, it cannot dissolve thick grime on its own, no matter how long you leave it. It needs help from a brush or cloth. Then rinse with a little water at low pressure.

  So, in hard-to-reach areas where a brush cannot reach, do not expect the grime to easily come off. Maybe repeated spraying can help.

  Also, the bottle struggles to spray in sideways or upside-down positions, which is very annoying for obvious reasons.

  It is definitely worth its money and the machine was definitely cleaner after using the product.
