Thermal paste suitable for both air-cooled and water-cooled CPU or GPU systems. It consists of a mixture of metallic oxide microparticles for even lower thermal resistance and high thermal conductivity.
There is no risk of short circuits or corrosion and it is completely safe to use with any type of CPU cooler, regardless of whether it is made of copper or aluminum and whether it is nickel-plated or not.
It is extremely stable over time, even after longer periods of use. It can be stored at room temperature for at least 3 years and due to the hardening, drying, and thermal recycling characteristics of the compound, it can be used on the CPU for 5 years or more.
Sufficient for approximately 3-20 applications (depending on the size of the CPU or GPU, e.g., about 3 applications for large CPUs like TR4 and about 20 for small CPUs like LGA1151), the classic 3.5g packaging size is ideal for most users who install coolers every so often.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Simply the best thermal paste. Asterisk for the MX-6 with which they compete for the top. The only downside is the slightly steep price, at least the 10g tube will last you for years. Basically, it's so good that I'm thinking of putting it on toast instead of peanut butter.
Excellent experience, installed on 3070 and went from 82 degrees with thermal throttle (hit 100% on the fans) and now consistently at 62...I couldn't believe it. The best!
Maybe I'm just the unlucky one or clumsy, but the nozzle broke as soon as I unscrewed the cap. Overall, it's one of the best pastes, but I would prefer a simpler design on the tube so that it's not so fragile that it breaks on the first try. In the end, they should just put a silicone cap on the nozzle and make it easy to pull.
Incredible product. Owner of 7800x3d (undervolted) generally this processor likes to be relatively warm, with the stock paste from be quiet I had concerning temperatures, with Noctua my concerns vanished. I present some comparisons:
Prime 95 (torture test): from 83 we dropped to 67
Cinebench: from 90.1 we dropped to 79
Baldur's Gate 3: From 89.9 to 58 (all ultra 4k with fsr)
Overall the differences are significant, there may have been an issue with the previous paste because the differences, especially in games, were huge. For me, at its price, it is an excellent purchase, buy without hesitation.
So far, I applied it to an MSI Katana laptop and I have reduced the temperatures by about 5-7°C, so I am satisfied for now. I want to see it in about 6 months to check if it will maintain its performance; it was easy to apply
I have been using the previous version of NT-H1 for 15 years. Absolutely satisfied and it never dried out during operation even on machines with overclocking. It's a shame because every time I have leftovers and throw away the tube. The new version seems equally reliable. Easy to use
Flawless. I installed it on an ASUS TUF GAMING A15 with Ryzen 5 4600H and 1650. The CPU scores dropped from 95 to 80 with CPU Z stress test.
3 times more expensive than the cheap mx-4. For use on CPUs where we have sufficient and uniform mounting pressure, the differences are small. It is in GPUs and laptops where its superiority in temperatures will be evident, with the second advantage being the pump out effect, meaning it will dry out more slowly. Perfect paste if you ignore the existence of ptm7950. Compared to it, all others are inferior except for liquid metal.
It's good, the problem is probably that it's electrically conductive. I put it on a graphics card and it short-circuited, the computer wouldn't turn on. Luckily, I didn't damage the card, I replaced it with a Zalman and Artic MX4, and even better, MX6. Everything is fine now. It's only for processors and you have to spread it with a spatula so it doesn't come out of the frame when you close the cooler. Clean it with isopropyl alcohol, and I read that Artic lasts for 5 years, Artic MX8 for 8 years. However, I heard that Artic MX5 wasn't good, but MX6 is fantastic in performance, although it's difficult to spread.
Better than arctic silver Mx-4 but not worth the extra money it costs compared to the package of the same company without the wipes (NT-H1). Get a liter of isopropyl alcohol from the pharmacy for 10 euros and you will have to clean processors for the rest of your life...
Good paste, very good but not the best.
They called it Phobya Nanogrease Extreme but it no longer exists and no paste will ever reach it, not even the kryonat extreme...
Neither the nth2 nor the ic diamond 24.
None at all...
In combination with changing the thermal pads on the RTX 2080, which raised temperatures to 82-86 degrees on the core and over 100 degrees on the memory, now it works at 65-68 degrees in MSI Kombustor benchmarks with a 100% power limit.
Overall, Noctua knows how to deliver high-quality products in the field of cooling without compromises, of course, with some extra cost. The same applies to the NT-H2 thermal paste, which spreads easily, cleans very easily, and the result is always flawless
The paste is fantastic. In an XFX RX 590 GPU (with a poor cooling system), the temperature dropped from 80-81 to 75, resulting in no longer reducing the card's clock (1640 MHz). So, we have: in Heaven benchmark, 27 fps with mama paste, 25 with Chinese paste, 29 with Noctua. Highly recommended
Do not bother with any other paste, this is by far the best I have tried in 30 years of dealing with PC service.
Do not waste your time with anything else other than NOCTUA.
Amazing quality and performance. From 12400 to 85 with Artic Silver, now I am at 77 stress test.
After two pastes, the lowest temperature is 28 degrees and the highest is 52 degrees on the Ryzen 7 5800x. It spreads easily, in the end, Noctua knows what they're doing!
I applied this specific paste and noticed differences of about 10 degrees lower compared to the previous one. Very good and easy to use, I recommend it to everyone.
The best paste I have ever bought. The maximum temperature dropped to 65 - 70 degrees on a laptop with an i7. And it stays consistently for at least a year.
Very nice paste and very easy to install. I put it on a Ryzen 5900x with AIO liquid cooling and good airflow case and the temperatures are excellent!
I found it a bit expensive for its price (I bought the 10gr version), but the packaging and the product itself fully justified the cost. The packaging includes 10 sealed wipes, the paste, and installation instructions, depending on the size of the processor. The installation was particularly easy, and the paste was much less thick compared to the previous one I had (CoolerMaster MasterGel Maker), which was excessively viscous. As for cooling performance, I must admit that the previous paste I was using was already very good, so I consider the 3-4 degree improvement I saw acceptable and satisfactory, I don't need anything more (R7 3800X). You can buy it without hesitation.
Because I wanted it for both computers and consoles that I change the paste, I bought the 10gr. Yes, it's quite expensive with the shipping...BUT.... it is ideal for anyone who wants to change the paste for multiple machines. Actually, I was impressed by how many wipes were included in the packaging and overall the whole package! You feel like you got what you paid for! Satisfied with its temperatures too!
This particular paste pleasantly surprised me compared to the Artix-MX4 that I was using before. In stress tests, I have noticed up to a 15-degree decrease and up to a 20-degree decrease in benchmarking with Intel XTU for the processor, while now the GPU does not exceed 60 degrees (in Warzone) even though I have overclocked it.
Hardware:
- Lenovo Y530 laptop
- GTX 1050 4GB
- Intel i5 8300H
- 24GB RAM HyperX 2666MHz
The reason it doesn't receive 5 stars is that it doesn't reach the performance of a Kryonaut tested on the same machine at the same time (Feb 2020). The good thing is that it spreads much easier than a Kryonaut and lasts almost twice as long. So if you're playing with overclocking above 20% and you're too lazy to change the paste every 3-5 months, you go for this one and waste 3-5C. That simple. There's no discussion compared to MX-4 and Arctic Silver. Yes, you change the paste every year but you compromise by at least 12-15C degrees.
The temperature dropped by almost 20 degrees on the processor (i7 8750H).
On the graphics card (GTX 1060 6 GB), it dropped by 15 degrees.
I am very satisfied.
The best thermal paste in the world right now. 4 degrees below H1, 6 below MX4. Spreads like butter, placed centrally like a droplet. It leaves no part of the processor uncovered. Comes with 3 wipes
Very good. I put it on an i7 9700k and it was overclocked to 4.7ghz. So far, it's great

The best there is in paste. For years, I haven't used any other.
