Good quality construction, although it does not have an embossed symbol on the plastic suitable for BPA-free food, it is printed on the packaging. The small movable cover of the water flow in the "nose" of the jug has a delicate base and from experience with similar constructions, it will not withstand much. It filters the water well. The main problem is that it uses aquaphor filters that are larger than the standardized size of brita and therefore only available from the aquaphor network
