Description

The XDive Jersey is a high-quality diving vest suitable for the summer months, while it can also be worn over the wetsuit to increase warmth during the cold months.

The "new" Neoprene fabric

The neoprene is lightweight, elastic, yet quite durable mesh. Its structure resembles a honeycomb due to microscopic air bubbles contained within small elastic cells, making it hydrophilic and resistant to wear. It offers the following advantages:

  • Completely waterproof
  • Maintains its physical and technical properties over a wide range of temperatures (-60 to +90 °C)
  • Keeps the human body warm
  • Maintains its integrity under the influence of salt solutions
  • Flexible and soft, does not restrict movement at all

    The vest is actually a lining/lining but it is exactly what I needed for shallow fishing in the warm waters of summer and mainly to make it easier for me to rig. It is easy to put on and take off and has been durable so far in materials and seams, but it has already paid for itself at €23.

    1st diving suit so I don't have experience to compare.
    The XXL is probably for well-built people because it is slightly loose around the belly but tight around the chest/armpits.
    It is easy to put on but taking it off is an adventure...
    Other than that, it clearly provides thermal insulation and requires ~1Kg of weight for buoyancy
