I bought the mechanism and it is amazing, but be careful not to let sand get inside because it will burn. I lifted up to 4 kilograms of grouper. Well,

The machine is positioned between casting and surfcasting, which makes it interesting. I don't particularly like the Pregio brand. I bought this one out of curiosity because of its uniqueness in being able to be used in between the aforementioned techniques. In terms of quality, I find it acceptable to good. I will come back later regarding its durability over time. The advantage is the second spool. I would like the box to include a set of 1 or 2 spools so that I can adjust the line winding on the spool.

UPDATE 24/04/23. I have set it up with my first rod (a Shimatsu Hiroko 3.60m CW 150gr casting rod). They match PERFECTLY. I have tested them almost to the limit (with a weight of 130gr) and the set works just like pure surfcasting (slightly smaller or equal casts, with 4.20m rods). The reel has not presented any problems whatsoever. I always have the conical spool with 0.30mm line on it. Since I always have it side by side with at least two other surfcasting sets, when the time comes to cast, because my hand is accustomed to the weight of heavier rods, it gives me the feeling of being "fake." But it's the opposite. It handles the line wonderfully (although at first I had to look for spools to adjust it correctly). It is light and easy to handle. I don't know if the 8kg brakes will prove useful, but they are there (I caught fish weighing up to 400g). The reel reminds me a lot of the Okuma Rockway 6000, but with a price almost 40-50 euros cheaper. It's a bit funny how two products from Greek importers (Pregio & Shimatsu) have harmonized so well. I recommend it to experienced beginners in casting who want to upgrade their set, and to anglers who like lightweight surfcasting equipment.

The worst little machine I ever bought.... I bought 2 Radius, one of them broke its axle and the crank screw broke on the first jam and the other one is ready to fall apart too.
Pregio is the only one worth it in its fishing rods after all.

Very good with a small detail if the handle was bigger and wider it would be more convenient
