When it comes to contact lenses, one should always look at reviews cautiously because each person is different, and a lens that works well for me may not work well for someone else. As a new user, I will share my experience after finishing my first package (3 months) and compare them to the Acuvue Oasys 2 weeks that I ordered as a trial before getting my latest pair.
Fit: With the Oasys, I constantly felt a slight discomfort that wouldn't go away, as if I had permanent dust in my eye. On the other hand, with the Air Optix, it feels like I'm not wearing anything at all. Clearly, the Air Optix are much better for my eyes.
Material: The Air Optix lenses have a much better material; they don't get dirty easily and are easier to clean and insert/remove from the eye. The Acuvue lenses are very flexible and easily get dirty with the slightest touch. One would think that the Oasys lenses would be more comfortable in the eye based on how I described it, but they feel exactly the same in the eye. Clearly, the Air Optix are better in this aspect.
I hadn't worn contact lenses for several years. I had tried Baush&Lomb Toric, Astigmatism, Pure Vision HD, and Cooper Vision Biofinity toric. The Air Optix Plus Hydraglyde are by far the best and most comfortable lenses I have worn. I wear them for 12-14 hours every day without any issues.
I had tried them a long time ago and they didn't work for me. I came back and tried them again. They are extremely comfortable, you don't feel like you're wearing contact lenses. They retain moisture very well, despite having a little water. When a contact lens has more water, it requires more tears and they absorb like a sponge. These have an ingredient that keeps the lenses moisturized and they are also not made of such soft material, which makes them more hydrated. They are very comfortable contact lenses, the only negative thing for me is that they get a little blurry during the day, only that.
First time using them, I used to get the classic air optix, I consider them much better, you feel your eyes hydrated even if you use them all day without the discomfort I had with the classic ones! I highly recommend them
