Foldable floor drying rack made of aluminum for corrosion protection. It features two wings with a drying capacity of 20m, thick cylindrical rods that prevent creases on the hung clothes and offer faster drying.
It is practical as it comes with accessories such as a special sock hanger and plastic protectors on the rod ends with notches for hangers. It has plastic wheels with protective corners for easy and safe movement, and it folds and locks at the wings for storage in a small space when not in use.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Very good aluminum and stable. The previous one I had for about 20 years, it's worth it if you think that a simple iron that costs 15 euros will only last about 3 years before it rusts. Also, it's all made of aluminum, even the legs. Also, to check if it's aluminum, you can take a magnet and touch it on top of it... if it sticks, it's iron, if it doesn't stick, it's aluminum. And because some people put blankets, quilts, rugs, car mats... and then complain that it broke... the clothes rack is made of aluminum so it doesn't rust, not steel so it can withstand, but rust. Also, to make them last and not break, we don't put blankets on the thin aluminum supports!!!... Not even 2 washing machines at once... unless you prefer the one with ropes... that everyone can see... like a... dryer.
This clothes dryer is a discredit to Vileda, which has accustomed me to quality products.
Positives:
-Lightweight
-Does not rust
Negatives:
-It started to gradually disintegrate, as the aluminum construction is so thin that the central drying cords started to break and the holes through which the central screws pass have already started to disintegrate.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of the product. The rails broke very quickly, even though I don't use it often and always with a few clothes. I expected greater durability, especially for daily use. I would not recommend it unless the strength of the construction is improved.
I like it. When it arrived, it had some dents on the rods you hang things on. Anyway, two of them broke, but I have to mention that my wife thinks she is a weightlifter in the Olympics.
Super. So far stable even with a lot of wind and easy to open and close without problems. I recommend it!
A horizontal element broke before even reaching 2 years of light use as we hang heavy clothes and blankets on ropes.
In a few words, wonderful. Sturdy and lightweight construction. The red little gadget for the socks is MAGICAL, it can even fit me lying on it, maybe not for 50 euros. If you find it for 35 with a heavy 40 max. Other than that, life-changing 8/10 with love
Very good. Aluminum = lightweight for transport but vulnerable to strong wind with clothes, so it needs additional support at its base.
Two rails broke for fun, and they were also from the rails where I never put anything heavier than a t-shirt
Overall, it is a very good drying rack. The only strange issue, which both of the ones I have purchased have, is that its surfaces are not completely smooth and can cause damage to the clothes.
The worst thing I have bought for drying clothes.. the rails break easily. With 3 short-sleeved children's shirts, the first one broke.. and I don't even leave it in the sun or overload it. I have another anonymous aluminum one for 8 years and it is like new, and this one is only six months old
Within 6 months, 2 of the rods broke in a way that cannot be fixed. Tedious opening, mediocre quality, and overall not value for money
One rail broke after 7 months, okay... then the base that holds it open broke shortly after and the next day another rail broke. I had a no name one for 14 years before, not expecting it to last that long, but not to buy 2 clothes racks a year
In the first month, the clothesline fell off the hook and there is no way to put it back on (the clothesline caught on the hook due to expansion). I had to use a tie instead. After 8 months, it also fell off from the opposite side. All this without loading anything heavy on it
Ultra lightweight and stable, it easily goes everywhere with its wheels, folds with a single motion - excellent purchase.
I have had it for four years and it has endured everything. It is not as stable as it used to be, but it still serves me the same. VFM
After two months of moderate use, one of the rails broke.
A year later, it hasn't had any other flaws, but it's not worth the money.
The addition of plastic for the socks is quite useful, saving space on the rest of the drying rack.
Excellent clothes rack.
It has saved us a lot of time with the constant drying needed with kids.
As the only observation, it could have been easier to move, with better quality wheels.
However, this would likely significantly increase the cost.
In conclusion, it is a quality product with a reasonable price.
Expensive without good quality. One of the metal rods broke after a short period of time and without much use. I do not recommend it. Similar metal ones from the market are more affordable and durable.
It was on a supermarket page and I ordered it along with other items. It arrived with slightly damaged ironing plates. If you don't handle it carefully, the plastic closure constantly comes undone. I don't know who came up with the idea to make it like that. It is big and tall, but what good is it if it's like a feather in the wind and falls down at the slightest breeze? It even got blown away by the wind (loaded with clothes) from the balcony to the field below and completely broke. It's so lightweight. For Vileda, by far the most useless product.
Very lightweight, easy to use, holds a lot of clothes, stable and does not rust, nor leaves marks on the floor. Unfortunately, after a year of use, the rods that hang the clothes at the junction point broke. Due to the cost and in my opinion, short lifespan, I would not choose it again.
I was satisfied until two of the long irons broke and I have had it for only one year. I consider it not worth its money.
One of the best purchases I have ever made for my home. It has solved my problem when it's raining and I can't hang my clothes outside. It serves me perfectly by allowing me to hang them there since it can hold a lot of clothes. It is very lightweight, easy to open and close, takes up no space at all, and is extremely durable. It is incredibly user-friendly and economical.
I have it for less than a year and with mild use without hanging blankets and heavy clothes, 3 of the long irons broke. It didn't pay off and now I will have to buy new ones because with 3 fewer irons, the clothes won't fit for drying! Also, it would fall straight with a little wind. The advantages were that it is very lightweight, easy to use, and easy to move.
I wanted it a bit heavier so that the wind wouldn't take it. It is very lightweight and easily falls with a little bit of wind.
Within 10 days, the rod on which the folding leg is supported broke. Unacceptable manufacturing defect. Especially considering the cost, I consider it a disappointment. I should have taken into account the corresponding comments...
I consider it to be very good for the money I paid. It closes, opens nicely, and is stable. Time will show its durability.
Good clothes rack, quality construction. It also has wheels on one side to move it more easily if you have clothes spread on it. Many "ropes" enough for hanging, sturdy construction
Very good quality with extra clips for the socks. Secure closure. Easy to use and transport. Very good construction
In two months, one of the little irons came off while I was very satisfied
Very nice. Stable and lightweight. And it also has some hooks for socks that help a lot in saving space!!!
It is very lightweight but it is a quality construction. Its spokes are slightly thicker than regular clotheslines, which may be off-putting to some, but the pegs hold just fine. I consider it a successful purchase.
