Iron quickly and comfortably, without worrying about burning clothes. Faster finishing with twice as much steam compared to steam irons. Quick results without changing settings and better crease removal.
Guaranteed No Burns
Your clothes will never burn thanks to OptimalTEMP technology. This steam generator iron will never cause burns on any fabric it irons. It can even stay with the hot plate on the clothes or the ironing board.
Powerful steam for perfect crease removal
For tough creases, there is continuous steam supply that will do the hard work. Wrinkles disappear when an extra shot of steam is used where necessary. This is ideal in case of vertical ironing.
Lightweight and compact for easy use and storage
Thanks to its small size, it is lightweight and easy to use for ironing. It even fits on the ironing board. But smaller size doesn't mean less power. Thanks to ProVelocity technology, steam generators are powerful, lightweight, and smaller than ever before.
Large removable water tank for easy refilling
A transparent 1.5-liter tank provides up to 1.5 hours of continuous use. It is clearly visible how much water is left, making it easy to refill at any time.
Includes descaling container - no filters and additional cost
Maintaining the steam generator is very easy with the built-in Smart Calc Clean descaling system. It reminds you when it's time to descale and includes a container that makes descaling easy and safe.
No temperature setting changes needed
Thanks to OptimalTemp, it can iron everything from jeans to delicate silks without needing to adjust the temperature.
Scratch-resistant SteamGlide Plus soleplate for smooth gliding
The scratch-resistant SteamGlide Plus soleplate ensures excellent glide on any fabric.
Transport lock for safe and easy transportation
The iron securely locks onto the base for easy transport around the house and to reduce the risk of accidental contact with the hot plate of the iron.
Safe and Easy Automatic Shut-Off
The automatic shut-off function automatically turns off the steam generator iron if it has not been used for a few minutes.

Very good iron. It has one disadvantage, as others have mentioned, it does not immediately release steam when you press the button and does not stop immediately when you release it, resulting in half of the steam being lost in the air. It is a matter of habit, someone would say, but for someone who is used to another iron that has an immediate response, this is an issue to consider. Also, sometimes when I turn it on, it goes into the cleaning mode instead of the regular mode.
27/10/2021 After 6 months of use, I can say that I appreciate it more. The fact that it continues to release steam after you release the button can be solved by leaving it on the ironing board since it will not burn neither the board nor the clothes. Also, the descaling system is very user-friendly and it warns you when it needs it. It has never released salts on the clothes and I always use tap water that has a lot of minerals. Also, because as I understand it generates steam in the iron and not in the boiler, if the descaling does a good job, I believe it will never have the problem with the salts that other irons that generate steam in the boiler have. Finally, its plate is excellent.
The iron sometimes leaks water when ironing. It also requires frequent descaling. I would not recommend it to someone, I would look for another option.
I did quite a bit of research both online and with the local housewives. In the end, I settled on this particular iron and I am completely satisfied. It has a satisfactory water tank for 2 loads of laundry and saves water. When I want steam for sheets, with the press of a button, it releases high-pressure steam. What I appreciate is that I don't have to carry water bottles to fill it up, as the removable tank easily fills from the tap (with a filter). It has only required descaling once in the 6 months I've had it, and everything was easy. Guys, it's worth the money and I highly recommend it. My mom has the same brand in an older model. Timeless!
I don't understand all the bad and negative reviews. Only if there was some defective batch or they haven't figured out how to use it. I've had it for 6 years, I iron everything even household socks with a pair and a 10-month-old baby, using it twice a week for three hours!! It's amazing. It's lightweight. It cleans itself by giving you a notification. It recognizes fabrics, it irons sheets folded up to four times, resulting in you finishing quickly and perfectly.
Maybe it requires a little practice and observation to understand how and when to press the button to release steam. That's the only difficulty I think it has. I wouldn't change it for anything. Even if something happens to it, I would buy the same one.
It definitely worths its price.
Throwing money away! I bought it 4 years ago because of the reviews and I was disappointed! Every time I iron, I feel like breaking it. I'm also sharing the video so you can see that it doesn't iron well
Avoid this specific product. After 3 months it stopped producing steam, it drips continuously, and from the very first moment, sometimes you pressed for steam and other times it sprayed. Also, the automatic temperature adjustment is not helpful at all. Normally, those of us who bought it should be refunded immediately, neither repair nor replacement.
No matter how much you insist, it simply does not iron!!
It leaves marks (no matter how many times you descale it)!
It leaks water after a long time of use!
Choose something else!!
Incredible purchase! The only downside is that it doesn't stay upright on the ironing board, but I don't mind because there is NO chance of burning fabric
Honestly, I can't understand the good reviews. This iron is the worst thing I have ever tried. It takes a long time to produce steam and never releases enough to properly iron a garment. If you want your clothes truly ironed, choose something else.
Very bad experience. I don't know if the product was defective, but from the beginning of its operation, it had a problem with steam extraction. Sometimes it worked properly, sometimes not. It is also quite heavy, and from the moment you press the button to release the steam, there is a delay until the smoke comes out, resulting in half of the steam being wasted.
First day I used it and it left yellow stains on white clothes, as if it had rust inside. Additionally, it is excessively heavy for me, my hand got tired in 30 minutes. The fact that the steam button does not 'lock' to stay pressed, like in a 15-year-old Singer system that I have and is much cheaper, makes it very tiring for people like me who have tendonitis issues due to computer work. In short, I regret the money I spent...
On the positive side, it is powerful and irons folded sheets very quickly.
I have been using this iron for 1 year. I am satisfied, it irons well, it doesn't need adjustment, the only negative thing I would mention is that every 2 months it gives you a self-cleaning reminder. If it works, it will be good because I threw away my previous irons because they got clogged with limescale
After about 3 years and light use, it stopped producing steam. Unacceptable.
We spent so much money to buy an expensive and supposedly "good" iron, and it was a bust.
To make matters worse, they asked me for €100 for the repair - a new circuit board.
Come on, I bought it for €140, enough with your spare parts prices.
I bought the iron in 2020. After 3 months, it broke - it didn't produce steam. After they repaired it at the authorized service center 3... times!!!! they gave me a new iron, which again, after 3 months, didn't produce steam, it was repaired and broke again!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!
I bought this iron only for the baby's clothes as I don't iron our own... Within 5 months of use, ironing once a week, it broke. It doesn't produce any steam at all (I'm still paying for it in installments and I've been without an iron for 2 weeks because it's in the service).
Edit.. the service fixed it and told us that they often break down. I hope it doesn't break again
A mediocre iron. Definitely not worth its money. It is slow in producing steam. It does not have strong steam even on the max setting. Compared to my previous Philips iron that lasted for 10 years, it was much better. Definitely not a good purchase.
Attention, there must be a defective batch! From the first moment, the steam production did not work. I contacted the store where I bought it and they referred me to Philips. I spoke to customer service, explained the problem and how I operated it, and they told me to return it for a replacement. I took it to the store, we tried another closed device and it had exactly the same problem. Finally, they refunded my money. I have no opinion on its performance as I did not manage to operate it even once, but if you choose this particular model, it is better to try it first in the store to avoid back and forth. In the end, I bought another model from the company, as I could not find this specific device functional, for which I am relatively satisfied and will leave a review on its own page.
I will speak from the experience of a household with one person :)
Personally, I believe that it irons better than any other iron I have had and has some user-friendly details from Philips that relax me.
I don't need more water per ironing.
I don't know the difference in bars. It is definitely more powerful than a 70e steam without a boiler that I had before.
Clean design, without flaws. I am satisfied with the purchase. I recommend it.
After a year of use, I can say that it is a very good choice, I chose it based on the reviews without any experience with ironing systems. It heats up quickly and it is very convenient that it self-cleans from limescale.
After 20 days of use (almost daily), it is deemed satisfactory in all aspects described by the company for this model. For now, no cleaning has been done in order to have an opinion, so I will come back.
I can say that it is small in size but miraculous! It produces a sufficient amount of steam! Additionally, it has functions that you discover through use. Specifically: 1) The steam shot is activated by quickly pressing the button 3 times and 2) The steam intensity that you adjust during ironing! So far, I have reduced the ironing time and the result is impeccable!
After a year of hard operation by a five-member family (opens 2-3 times every day and the lights are changed), it simply shows a dog. It will show how much it can withstand these rhythms :):)
The woman is thrilled with it as, as she says, it reduced her ironing time in half (don't ask me how, I don't want to know, I took the credit since it was my gift).
Update after 1 year or so... it continues its excellent performance after a demanding year of use.
Today I threw it in the trash...
Waste of money. 3 malfunctions in 1 year.
NEVER AGAIN Philips.
The system is very good BUT: Within a month and a half of purchasing it and while I was very satisfied, it suddenly started releasing steam on its own without me pressing any buttons.
After contacting Philips, I was directed to the authorized repair center in my area (Rhodes).
After 10 days, they informed me that there was a problem with the circuit board and that they had ordered a new one.
One month from the date (and after many inconveniences from my side for some updates), the circuit board still hasn't arrived...
Having paid 170 euros, I have been without an iron for so long, not due to my own fault.
Generally, I am very patient and understand that a product may have defects, but the handling from the company's side leaves me no choice but to leave a negative review for the product.
In the future, this particular brand will be a deterrent factor for me to purchase anything.
After two months of use, I can say that it is quite good.... user-friendly and small for storage for those who don't have much space.... good limescale cleaning.. the only thing I would say as a negative is that it doesn't release steam immediately when you press the button... good for shirts (because unfortunately when I was looking for reviews, no one mentioned this) but I would like it to have a water spray for this reason.
Very good iron, powerful and lightweight, it adjusts the temperature on its own. The negatives are that the steam comes out 1 second after you press the button and it feels a bit stiff if you press it continuously.
It broke after a month of use. I gave it for repair at the service center about 50 days ago and I still haven't received it back. Whenever I call them, they tell me to wait. I had to use another iron because they don't provide another iron for use during the repair, and they also don't refund the money. Conclusions are up to you.
