Description

Olga Bakomaru is a "central pillar" in the field of Greek journalism. She created a journalistic and literary style by conducting interviews. She has spoken with and met all the contemporary myths of modern Greek reality. Curious, insightful, precise, capable of keeping alive the moment she experienced, she offers it to us and makes us participants in the event. A book with Olga Bakomaru's unparalleled interviews is a major publishing moment. A unique way to preserve the words of people who are our identity, to see our "self," which we tend to forget! Thanasis Lalas "I miss Bakomaru's flawless interviews very much. No one ever reached their musical balance, a kind of naivety that brought even the most hesitant beast out of its hole, the boldness of improvisation, a prose style à la Warhol before Warhol, the authority of a journalist who converses as an equal, without posturing or stealing the show, the spirit of curiosity at its best. Olga, I take my hat off to you!" Stathis Tsagkarousianos Eleftherotypia

The ultimate record book of Greece's recent history. Bakomarou's interviews recorded the developments as they happened and allow today's reader to realize what was going wrong with Greek society and the Greek citizen. Bakomarou holds an archive with hundreds of her interviews and I hope that there will soon be the possibility for a second and third part.
