I use it to grind espresso. It usually takes 25-30 seconds, depending on the blend, and maybe towards the end of that a little manual shaking to grind the beans more evenly. It does its job, there is nothing cheaper, you just pay for it with experimentation and time to get used to it.
Excellent, fast, and reliable grinder for coffee, seeds, and spices. It does an excellent job!
The best basic home grinder for coffee and spices.
Use a timer and weighed amount of coffee for the same result every time
Very good, grinds various things not just coffee but I only use it for coffee, so far it does its job very well, if only they had included a little brush so I wouldn't have to use my own it would be 5 stars.
It lasted 1 month. The washer that turns with the blade came off and doesn't screw in, it keeps coming out and I can't cut, it's going in the trash
Quite honest for its affordable price. I enjoy coffee that smells fresh! I had seen some reviews that said there were still grounds, but I didn't encounter anything similar! I just grind it a bit more!
Value for money. As for cleaning, if you wipe with a dry cloth, coffee residues are easily removed.
Excellent, the definition of value for money, just depending on how strong you like your coffee, the grind should be accordingly...
Quality and useful grinder for grinding coffee. Specifically, I grind espresso for the first time and without experience, I managed to grind nice coffee after some trials with a little research. It doesn't have settings, so you'll find it yourself depending on the seconds. It's worth the money.
I have no point of comparison since this is the first grinder I am buying. It seems to do its job perfectly. It loses one star because it is difficult to clean.
Very good grinder for espresso beans. It has been very convenient for me and has good material quality, it is not fake.
It is a grinder that, if you say you will be dealing with coffee as an amateur (which is also why you buy it to do something more), will immediately show you its weaknesses. There is no stability in the grind; you have to put very small amounts in to grind them adequately and not find coffee dust along with whole beans. In the end, you will have a mixture of different sizes of coffee that may only be suitable for French press. For mocha and espresso, the inconsistencies in the result greatly affect the coffee. Surely, if you buy it to save money, you understand that it is not the right solution since good beans are about the same price as good ground coffee, so it makes more sense to spend a little more and have better grinding results. This is not the company's fault; it's simply the type of grinder that, with blades, cannot provide a uniform result. As a product, it is qualitatively well-made
Very good, fast, quality, convenient cleaning (with dry kitchen paper), has only been used for coffee
Within the first week, the plastic lid broke; the plastic is very thin, so it's fragile, so be careful. And I don't think it is sold separately as a spare part.
Honest for its price. You need to find out how many seconds you should grind the coffee based on your espresso machine. For the Delonghi Dedica, I grind it for 19 seconds and I am satisfied.
Excellent grinder simply! With something less than 20€, you get a quality grinder, you experiment with the seconds until you have the desired result for your coffee and you are a master!
Very good purchase, if you are looking for an economical way to grind coffee at home. It does not have a cutting adjustment, the longer you press it, the finer the coffee will come out
The box that contained the mill was worn out, maybe it had been displayed in a showcase and the mill outside had scratches
Beloved purchase. I always have freshly ground coffee. Strong blades that grind the beans in seconds
For "espresso" with Aeropress, it is perfect. A trick is to carefully turn it upside down while holding the lid well and let the coffee fall into the lid. Then you pour it directly into the Aeropress (with the funnel, of course). On the downside, I would like it to be able to be cleaned internally.
Very good for its price. It does not have cutting grades, you find it based on your taste with the eye and experience.
Very good purchase, if you are looking for an economical way to grind coffee at home. It does not have a grinding adjustment, the longer you press it, the finer the coffee will come out. Personally, I would like a slightly larger grinding capacity to fit more coffee, and it would be useful if the basket could be removed for cleaning. But I consider these details minor compared to its price
For the money, it's very good. It only has one grind setting. Good construction, easy to use and clean. (With a brush like the ones used for blush). Makes nice espresso. If you don't want to spend a lot of money and you're not a professional, then it's a good solution.
I bought it to grind coffee for espresso, I haven't tried it for spices or anything else. The negative thing about the coffee is that it doesn't have different levels of grinding, so you have to time it, which affects the result. As a machine, it is fast, efficient, and easy to use, but it may confuse you in its use because it has only one button. Finally, cleaning it is an issue. I would like the grinder to be detachable so that the container can be properly washed, but it is not possible. Therefore, only dry local cleaning is recommended because it is an electrical device that is not waterproof, so do not attempt to wash it (I mention this because I had read a comment from someone who washed it regularly)
For a non-pressurized portafilter of 18 grams, you will grind exactly 18 grams of coffee beans for 25 seconds and measure another 25 seconds of extraction into the coffee in order to get exactly double the amount in liquid, which is 36 ml (Strong coffee).
Personally, I let the extraction go for 30 seconds for a more balanced coffee.
If you grind for 20 seconds, the coffee will come out watery.
If you grind for 30 seconds, the machine will clog.
Very good, I use it for grinding espresso, also for spices it does a great job, I admit I was amazed!! 5 stars!!
The sure thing is that it's worth its money. It grinds the coffee to a pretty good extent and therefore it is highly recommended for home use. Cleaning it is a bit difficult for me, but with a toothbrush and kitchen paper, it does a good job. An important tip is to spray the beans 2 to 3 times before grinding them, as this helps to achieve a uniform result without creating a solid mass.
Sturdy construction, easy to use. A very good purchase, I bought it to grind espresso. It turns the coffee into powder. Worth the money at 19€. I recommend it for home use.
I use it to chop spices, excellent performance, it turns them into powder.
The only negative is that the container does not come out for easier cleaning.
For the money, it is very good.
You get the job done. The upgrade compared to pre-ground coffee is like putting an SSD in an old PC.
I grind the coffee by ear.. When I don't hear the sound of pebbles, I stop. It takes about 20 to 30 seconds.
