I bought it a week ago. FINALLY a device that does its job! Until now, we had bought a bunch of devices for mosquitoes, but they did nothing (wasted money, literally!)... This device collects everything! Mosquitoes, flies, moths, anything annoying and dangerous that flies. We have it on the balcony and all the insects go there. Buy it without a second thought. Guaranteed! :)
It is located in a space full of mosquitoes. Any mosquito that happened to go to the device was killed. The rest do not go. Tests have been conducted with lights on and off.
Silent operation compared to another older model where each "execution" of an insect was accompanied by "fireworks." Unfortunately, it stopped working after the first year.
Unfortunately, no fly or mosquito ever voluntarily went to the light to die. By chance, a few went after many days of operation, and by then they had already ravaged us. What good is it if the construction is sturdy and beautiful, since it doesn't do what it's made for? I don't know if other similar products would work. Nor do I know if the mosquitoes and flies in Athens are different. In any case, it didn't work.
It does nothing for mosquitoes. It does something for flies, once in a while you hear a zap every couple of days..... As a lamp, though, it shines... Get it for lighting.......
Listen and please solve my questions if you know. I have had it for a while and when I put it into operation the first night it did a great job. Everything went up and obviously we stayed quiet. The same continued the next nights and I said perfect, I got the Iraqi device. However, after a couple of months I saw that the mosquitoes and insects no longer went up to the lamp that continued to light up as the first time. I checked it again and now they have stopped going up. I wonder now, maybe it needs cleaning from the previous corpses and if so, how is that done? Does it need some maintenance? Can someone help me or should I throw it away?
It works and kills them silently as soon as they land. Strong light. It looks good. /……… / I return after 5 months of good operation and after it killed quite a few mosquitoes all summer ' ten days ago it burned out the first bulb and these days it burned out the second one, now it doesn't work and I'm looking for bulbs.
I used it for several nights to fight mosquitoes that were obsessed with my face all night long (in room temperatures <18, because now that the weather has warmed up, they disappeared on their own) and it didn't catch a single one.
I used it all August on the veranda of a country house, where until now the insects were having a party every night! So I gave them the blacklights (with a little electricity) and they fell for it!
Very effective against all kinds of insects, especially during the evening hours (when the sun has set). I don't consider it the most specialized way to deal with mosquitoes, but it does a good job with them. I highly recommend it and I believe it is a value for money purchase!

Today is the first day of use. I am using it on the balcony because we have a lot of mosquitoes in the southern suburbs. I don't know if it shows, but it's chaos. In the photo, it's about an hour of use and it has caught about ten mosquitoes. I highly recommend it.
What you see in the photo is the first night of operation, needless to say it was a massacre. As for the mosquitoes that most of us will get it for, it works well, I'm not completely sure because it's difficult for me to distinguish them among the collateral losses but I saw quite a few. Also, the bulbs are indeed UV.
It has powerful bulbs that emit a lot of light and is very effective thankfully.. At first, I bought a similar eurolamp and it did nothing, with this one we were saved as a family! I didn't believe that so many bugs were passing through the house.. I should note that we don't have screens on the windows and after years, we sleep peacefully without mosquitoes and other insects. Very good product!
It doesn't work at all. As soon as I received it, I turned it on and it did nothing. The mosquitoes and flies had a party. I do not recommend it, it's a waste of money!
Very effective. It does what it's supposed to. The main thing is, it's quiet! The previous one I had made a lot of noise and was annoying, especially at night.
The two bulbs it has produce enough light, so using it indoors is rather annoying.
Otherwise, it works just fine.
It comfortably covers a 60 sq.m. space, has strong light (a basic element of such a device), and is very convenient due to its relatively small size. I place it next to the balcony door and nothing enters the house. I haven't tried hanging it, so I don't know if the chain it comes with is reliable. Usually, I place it on a stable surface (relatively high) and it works from there. Compared to previous electric insect traps I've tried (here we laugh), it's like day and night...
It does the job, mainly collects butterflies and various bugs that come and sit around (I had no idea that so many bugs enter the house at night!). I'm not entirely sure if it kills mosquitoes or if they just go and sit around there, it doesn't make any noise that it burned something. Anyway, mosquitoes definitely don't roam around the area anymore, so we have calmed down
I have had it in a closed space for about a week where there are small flies, it has not caught even one, I don't know if it works for mosquitoes

It doesn't kill mosquitoes well, but it kills flies, midges, etc. well.
