They say that genius is very close to madness. Indeed, several great artists ended up in institutions of dubious therapeutic value. In the life of Yannoulis Chalepas, however, perhaps the most important modern Greek sculptor, there is not only a hopeful spring and a descent into hell. There is also an unexpected resurrection, an unforeseen reappearance of genius, which even gave us works much more personal than the old ones. His tormented life, even after the rekindling of creativity, is what moved us so much, which is why we tried to convey it in images. Some believe that Chalepas is something like a saint. Who knows? What is certain is that his story is unlike any other.
