The benefits of AMD StoreMI
Fast, smooth, and easy computing experience
Optimizes computer responsiveness from system startup to application launch
Offers SSD performance with HDD capacity at an affordable cost
Quick access to essential files by automatically learning users' computing behavior
High Density Glass Fabric PCB
High Density Glass Fabric PCB that reduces the gaps between the PCB layers to protect the motherboard from electrical short circuits caused by moisture
PCB in "Sapphire Black" color
ASRock does not overlook even the smallest details. With its pure black appearance, the new Sapphire Black PCB represents the utmost quality, giving the motherboard a "mysterious" touch.
Triple Monitor
This particular motherboard supports Triple-Monitor technology. You can select up to three different monitors, connect them to the provided video outputs, and use them simultaneously.
Solid Capacitor Design
ASRock has implemented solid-state capacitors on this motherboard. With these capacitors, the motherboard can operate more stably and guarantee a longer lifespan
Full Spike Protection
Certain sensitive digital components on the motherboard are vulnerable to sudden voltage fluctuations, and excessive current can cause immediate malfunction of your system. ASRock Full Spike Protection includes various technologies that prevent your motherboard components from being damaged by these unexpected voltage fluctuations.

Well, maybe it was just me, but this motherboard connected directly to the processor. Very good, I don't have any issues with temperatures and it didn't require any BIOS update as some say. I would give it 5 stars if it had 4 slots

WARNING! Do not believe Asrock's misleading marketing about this specific model, it does not support anything from the box except for 1st generation Ryzen and some 2nd generation (and even for those, others complained that they didn't work). The website and the box claim that it is "ready" for 3000-4000-5000 series, but it is a LIE! If someone checks the CPU support list, they will see that it states the BIOS version that needs to be upgraded in order to work with these AM4 socket processors. I fell for it because Asrock mentions that it is version R4.0 and I assumed that they would have also upgraded the BIOS, but NO! To upgrade the BIOS, you need a Ryzen 1000 series to enter the BIOS and then perform the update with a USB stick (which, from what I heard, it's not even certain if it will recognize the NVME M.2 SSD that it has a port for, without the upgrade). Among the other negatives, it doesn't even have a VRM Cooler, so it is risky for overclocking! It's a shame because I had trust in Asrock...

As soon as we put it in the box.
I won't boot the 5500 even though it said 5000 series ready on the box, of course it was a sticker and not printed like the 3000 ready it also has.
I tried putting a 2600 in, trying to do some bios update. The 2600 booted immediately displaying a strange message "fTPM NV corrupted or fTPM NV structure changed" but I didn't continue with it.

A little strange placement on the tower for me. But this also depends on the case that each one has. Its temperatures are satisfactory. The ports are sufficient and their connectivity is easy and simple. I would prefer the SATA to be vertical and not on the sides, but overall it is very good. Definitely with the same money, you can find a better motherboard. But if you want a motherboard that does simple things like simple games and the like, without having ambitions for an upgrade... it is suitable for you.
I will try to debunk the myth about high temperatures resulting in poor performance, etc. From the first moment, everything worked perfectly. The bios was at version 3.7, the ports are satisfactory in number, and the memory clocks perfectly and is very stable. It has everything it claims in the specifications, and in case you have a large graphics card, don't worry, the Sata3 ports are not covered, you just need to place your devices in them before the graphics card for convenience. Temperatures, if you build a computer with good airflow, do not exceed 40C. I have it with overclocked processor and graphics card, without any problems whatsoever.
The build is:
Asrock b450 hdv r.4
Ryzen 5 2600
Gigabyte gtx 1660 super oc
Crucial Ssd bx 500 480 gb
Toshiba hdd 320 gb
G.skill aegis 16 gb ddr4 3200 mhz
Kolink void pc tower
550watt Psu
For 1080p gaming.
For a quad-core APU? A decent motherboard. For something more powerful? The VRM will be a problem. Compared to the original version, this revision has a severely downgraded VRM in every aspect. I would not recommend pairing it with anything above a hexa-core and it is definitely not a motherboard for overclocking. Very poor temperatures even with the stock 3700X which is rated at 65W!
Very good motherboard for its price, I have been using it for 6 months with Ryzen 2200g and Kingston value ram 8gb for office work. Easy installation in a small case, user-friendly bios, everything worked perfectly from the beginning without any issues!
Edit, the motherboard decided that it doesn't work with two RAM sticks. And after I troubleshooted to find out which hardware is to blame, the problem is indeed the motherboard. I saw, unfortunately in hindsight, that it does have problems with two RAM sticks, and I'm not the only one. I don't recommend it, it's a lot of trouble, go for a more well-known brand where you won't encounter such problems
Very good and economical. I use it with a RYZEN 3 3200g.
In combination with a fast M.2 NVME disk, it works great. I recommend it for every use except gaming, as I haven't tested it with games.
For 52 euros, one of the best motherboards.
