Two star brand reason.
It is accompanied by large 12 passive professional speakers 4x120rms 8ohm
and it seems that they fall short at 80 percent, maybe someone can help and all 4 speakers are JBL, brand new and well made...
I will return
It's not powerful and it distorts the sound from 60 percent and above. I don't know if it's a defective piece, but it just doesn't work for me. From the machines in the photo, the Yamaha is the only one that does this to my piece. What a shame
It's a shame for the 560 euros I spent a year ago. It sounds weak and no matter what I do, I wish I could return the pen and get my money back... Everyone will say that I don't know about speakers, but I have 9 Technics, Sony, Pioneer, Koda, Ibiza, Logitech, LG, Panasonic, and Yamaha machines, and they all play more clearly... It's unbelievable, I don't use them with the phone. Maybe I got a defective machine, I don't know... and again, it's a shame. As soon as I turn it up to 55 percent, you would think it will burn your speakers with what it sends, and it burned my Gemini 12 120rms 8ohms professional speaker, and it didn't even happen from high volume because it played louder and much cleaner on the Ibiza SA 2000... I broke it, I will never buy it again. I regret it before even listening to it...
I have had the amplifier in my possession for about 3 months.
In short, in combination with the cds 303 of the same company and assuming the music is well-recorded, the sound is enjoyable. Crystal clear sound, very good instrument separation, flawless vocals. With proper speaker placement (klipsch rp 600m), the stereo image is captivating.
Of course, if the music is not well-recorded, the result will be different, but this applies to all amplifiers regardless of price.
I am also the owner of the as1100 of the same company and to be honest, the differences in sound are insignificant beyond the build quality, where the 1100 weighs twice as much and is better constructed.
I highly recommend the as501.
The machine does exactly what it says it does. It is an amplifier and nothing more. But it really does its job very well. I had concerns between this one and the 701 because I have floor-standing speakers with dual woofers and I thought maybe its power wouldn't be enough. I was wrong, it is more than sufficient and has incredible clarity. Maybe the sound it produces might sound a bit "dry" but in reality, it is exactly what it should be and nothing more. I managed to turn up the volume a bit, but for more, you need to be in a detached house. I would still like another perspective. I also connected the subwoofer for low frequencies at low volumes because it produces a bit of bass there and everything is fine. I don't know if I would be equally satisfied if I had chosen Marantz or Denon as I was considering. But I think that for the same power as the 501, I would have paid more.
I have had him in my possession for 3 years. He is good for his price.
He plays loudly but lacks the ability to drive difficult speakers, his power is not strong enough, resulting in him being a bit sluggish at low volume. If you give him gas, he does the job, but you can't always listen so loudly.
For an entry-level machine, he is okay, he has good connectivity and does everything decently, definitely not disappointing.
Tip: if your hands are getting caught, open him up and replace the power cable with a good iec socket and make a good power cable. The difference is significant in everything...
Well, I have almost a year, so I can write an initial opinion.
For sources, there are the Rega Planar 1 turntable and the wxc50.
At first, the speakers were the dali spektor 2 and I can say that I was very satisfied, but the bug had entered and I soon started looking for new floorstanding speakers.
I ended up with the oberon 5 recently and in combination with new speaker cables, I can say that it came together and tied up!
The amplifier drives the speakers very nicely and the overall sound has improved.
Warm sound, in pure direct, and I see that it still has a lot of power to give.
My only complaint is that I wanted the Oberon 7 and they would probably be too big for this setup, but even so, I am completely satisfied.
As for the remote control, it really hasn't bothered me at all. I only use it for on/off.
That's it.
If someone wants a good wfm amplifier, they will make a mistake if they don't take a look at the 501!
I didn't expect it. Simply flawless for its price. It takes the sound from the computer via a DAC with optical fiber. I have it connected to Polk Signature S55e speakers. I am learning what music really means again. Especially when I use the pure direct mode, the sound becomes incredible. The bass is unbelievable. Of course, the speakers also play a role, but I didn't expect them to perform so well. For now, I am playing with half of the volume to break in the speakers, and I already consider it powerful... With a good pair of speakers, the amplifier truly shows its capabilities.
The machine is breaking it with very good intensity, perfect sound quality, many outputs, awesome build quality. For the money, it's perfect!!!!!
Although I had bought the RS202d for simple use, I decided to get this one because I am very satisfied with this particular company. I have it for music with 2 floor-standing speakers and in a few words, it is a beast. Weight, finish, quality, sound. I am still discovering it and I can confidently say that the company responds correctly to those who do not have high demands. From there on, as much as you ask for something more, it covers you in the whole spectrum. The amplifier responds to all the genres I listen to and I can say that I feel like I have been transported from the basement to the penthouse. Congratulations once again to Yamaha.
For his money, he is one of the best.
For Hi-Fi use in combination with a good pair of speakers.
I have paired it with the Magnat Monitor Supreme 1002 and it really rocks.
It has coaxial and optical inputs, but no Bluetooth, which doesn't bother me. It also has enough analog audio inputs.
It is more of an old-school machine, with the only downsides being the slightly inconvenient remote control and the use of plastic buttons compared to previous models that had metal ones, but I don't consider this a serious issue either.
Great for Hi-Fi use.
If you are looking for high-end situations, you will need to spend a lot more money and look elsewhere.
I have had it for about a month and I listen to music for one or two hours every day.
I just switched from the Magnat Monitor Supreme 1002 to the Magnat Monitor Supreme 2002 and it still performs very well
After a month of listening, I can say that the amplifier is very good. Beautiful in appearance and high quality (although I would prefer the buttons to be metallic, like the older models, and not plastic). The sound is perfectly clear and natural. Colorless and flat. I rarely turn it up more than halfway (of the volume). I listen to a lot of music and I can say that it performs very satisfactorily everywhere.
It has a DAC for coaxial-optical connection, which I use for my computer and I am very satisfied with the sound quality. When used with a turntable, the sound that comes out is truly incredible.
It needs volume to play well. I wouldn't say it impresses at low levels.
As for the negatives, I would mention the fact that you have to buy an extra Bluetooth adapter and the average feel of the remote control.
Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the purchase. It's worth the money, I recommend it!
Top amplifier in its category. Very good build quality and amazing sound. It's worth every penny. The review is written after a year and a half of use. The only negative is the not very good quality and relatively uncomfortable remote control.
At 319€ it's a very good choice! At 450€ it's not even worth buying as a joke!!!
Top.
Especially for analog sound, it breaks badly
