TUBE CUTTER 3-32mm
Quick-adjusting pipe cutter. The quick adjustment feature allows the blade to be transferred to the pipe for processing with one movement, and then manually pressed using the button. Once the work is completed, releasing the blade to the maximum open position is possible with a single button, making the cutter ready for the next cut. Designed for cutting copper, aluminum, and plastic pipes.
Features:
Suitable for copper installations, heating, air conditioning, brakes, and more.
Heavy-duty, professional quality construction for all tasks. Steel construction for many years of use. Polish-made, designed & manufactured by professionals for professionals.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It does not have good geometry, resulting in difficulty in accurately clamping the pipe at the chosen cutting point (most of the time the cut is made at a shifted point from the original). Specifically:
a) The length of the tool is much longer compared to the maximum pipe diameter it can cut. This makes the clamping phase difficult, where one hand needs to hold both the free pipe and the tool steady on the cutting point until the cutting wheel comes into contact with the pipe, while the other hand tightens it.
b) The two small wheels that clamp the pipe are very close together, so in the above process, the pipe "prefers" to be trapped between the second wheel and the inner curve of the tool, which not only does not help the cut to be made at the right point but also distorts the circular section of the pipe.
Although it is an economical tool, I do not recommend it for precision cuts.
