Excellent product, it solves your hands, you always cook successfully without having your mind on pots, etc. with a baby running around you all day. It's healthy because it's steam and not boiling, I've been using it for 8 months and I bought it again now as a gift for a new mom. I wonder why so many people have a problem with cleaning! Indeed, the lid requires a little persistence to clean because it has the holes that the steam passes through and food sticks to it (depending on the meat) but 1) of course, it opens to be cleaned because I read comments that it doesn't open to be cleaned, it's a bit hard at first and you press it with a spoon to open it the first few times (I wonder how some people use it without opening it to be washed..) and 2) it cleans very easily with the small brushes from Dr. Brown's baby bottles in the holes if you don't have time to soak it a little. It goes without saying that, like all blenders, you have to clean it before the food dries on top and becomes clay!!
It is the most terrible thing I have bought for my baby!!! Not only is it not worth its money... I wash it every time I use it IMMEDIATELY! I put it in the washing machine at least 2 times a week and the result is that from the residues that have accumulated in the inner transparent bottom it has (which I have tried to clean even with vinegar and baking soda) I collected worms inside the machine!!! Simply unacceptable! A machine that is intended for babies should be screwable and cleaned from end to end. Fortunately, I already had an unused steamer and fortunately I now make my baby's meals there.
From the moment I bought it, the blender suddenly didn't work, after a few days it worked again! I had no problem with boiling! Also, washing it was a nightmare and not all parts were cleaned!
Have been using it for the last 3 months for meat and veggies. If you chop the meat in small pieces you have a food ready in 20 minutes which is very convenient if you want to cook fresh every day. Blends really smoothly, we actually use it ourselves for vegetable purées. I took one star out for the cleaning part, you should clean it immediately especially after cooking meat, the lid needs to be opened and cleaned thoroughly every time. I would definitely recommend it, at least you only wash one thing and it cooks really fast.
Unacceptable product, it doesn't clean at all and the grinding function broke after 5 uses. It is now an expensive steamer
For its usefulness, I would give it 10 stars instead of 5. For its sensitivity, I give it zero. It frees your hands for cooking baby food. Truly the best in terms of speed, quality, and ease. However, the device is overly sensitive. It broke down twice, and of course, due to the warranty, the first one was replaced with a new one. The new device broke down again, and the repairman came again under warranty. The service from Philips in Thessaloniki is very good. Logically, after every 1-2 uses, the user needs to do a perfect decalc. A device that you love and hate at the same time.
Very easy to use, and in case a part hasn't fitted properly, it won't operate.
In 6 months, we sent it for service 3 times and they replaced it with a new one each time. Each time it stopped working. In the last replacement, the blender's motor was not functioning properly. I took it for service a 4th time. I called customer service and told them that it is unacceptable for this to happen. They agreed to give me a refund.
The cutter broke down just on the third meal and it left us with an expensive food steamer. The service/change process requires you to speak with Phillips headquarters to tell you which service center is near you, make an appointment with them, take it there to be inspected, and then they decide whether to replace/repair it. Also, cleaning it is difficult. I suggest buying separate devices. It's not convenient even if it was working
Honestly, I regret every day that I bought it. Okay, it cooks in steam and blends like a 10 euro blender but it's always dirty, no matter what we do!!!
I bought it in 2018 for my first baby. I used it to prepare meals for the baby. I am currently using it for my second baby and I wouldn't change it. It works like new. In 2019 I bought it as a gift, by far the most useful gift. It still works perfectly even now. The only thing I would like is the cable to be a little longer. I read the reviews of the last year and probably something has changed since then in terms of construction.
The worst thing there is, I opened the box to use it and from the first use it wouldn't complete any boiling cycle! I have sent it for service for a month now and I still haven't received it
The worst purchase I have ever made!! Within 4 months, both the motor and the carafe broke. The product was replaced, and the replacement product broke again after just 1 week of use. Do not buy it! It is unreasonably expensive for its quality
Anyone who has given more than one star to this product has never cooked in their life. Regarding cooking with steam: 1. The steam lid opens uncontrollably when you try to pull it, resulting in burns! 2. The lid on the steam side swells after 2-3 uses and doesn't close properly anymore, it needs to be thrown away at this point. As for the blender: 1. It can't even blend an apple or a pear smoothly. It leaves chunks even in a banana, if you can believe it! You have to blend it until it literally smells burnt in order to feed a baby. A €20 blender does a much better job. 2. Below the blender, there is a hollow space that inexplicably catches food and molds! The instructions show two holes for water to pass through and clean it, but it doesn't clean for any reason! The biggest waste of money in my life! Stay far, far away, don't even consider it! Actually, if someone recommends it to you, they want you to suffer!
Horrible device
1. blender stopped working after 10 days, been waiting on a replacement for over 3 weeks now
2. the whole thing is tough to clean, the white plastic gets horribly coloured by food
3. when you set the timer, it doesn't show you how much time you have left, nor resets once finished.
4. quantity wise you can barely fit 500gr of diced food.
5. the cord is too short.
Just avoid it, it creates way more problems than it solves.
They gave me this specific device as a gift, so luckily I'm not crying over the amount of money it costs. While at first it sounded impressive that I could save dishes, effort, and time from cooking for the baby, it didn't hold true in reality. The time it takes to boil vegetables or meat is the same as the time my pressure cooker takes. When you turn it upside down for the chopper, it requires great caution as the pitcher opens very easily and the food falls down! After chopping them, it keeps them warm for a good amount of time. Its biggest problem is cleanliness! The steam filter only opens with a knife, and in the half month that I've been using it, it has already turned black in some areas, and I'm afraid it might be mold, but thank God I will throw it away! I cleaned it with baking soda and vinegar and still, they didn't come off. It got discolored from the first cooking without using any spices from any vegetable, and the worst part is that there are food residues left at the bottom that you have no way of cleaning! Also, it has been leaking in the past few days. The manual, in the end, is suitable for starting a fire in the fireplace. Money wasted!
Necessary for anyone who has a child as it combines 2 devices in one. You have the ability to make as much food as you need for each meal. We used to divide the meat into portions and put it in the freezer so that whenever we wanted, we could take out as much as we needed and cook it. It is convenient to carry it on trips..
I bought this particular baby food maker at the end of August... and after only 10 days of use, the mixer stopped working! The store where I bought it told me to bring it in for service... we'll see how long it will last after the service! Although it is not a very cheap steamer, it definitely is not worth the money when it comes to the mixer! As a steamer, it has been working fine so far! Of course, the reason I made this purchase was to have fewer dishes to wash... but for now, that is not the case...
I am coming back to lower the rating even further to 1 star! If there was an option for less, I would choose it! In less than a month of purchase and less than 2 weeks of use, the steamer stopped working, not only the mixer that had already broken in the previous days!

The blender broke after 10 days of light use (one meal per day). The worst part is the service, as it was diagnosed that it needs replacement, which I will receive in 10-15 working days!! So, for a machine that will be used for 3-4 months, we will have to wait 3 weeks!!! Unacceptable warranty policy, which should provide for immediate replacement for all baby machines.
We bought it 2.5 years ago and it is still being used. It hasn't broken and does exactly what it promises in a very satisfactory time. Good construction, cleaning is a bit of a hassle but compared to the service it offers, it's not a big problem. Its capacity is sufficient for 2 baby meals or 1 meal for a larger child.
It has truly saved me, within 20 minutes the baby's food is ready. Mine broke in half the time, but you take it for service and it becomes like new! It's worth it for the time it saves and it's fully healthy for your baby!
After 1 month of use, I can say that it cooks well with steam and the blender is also good. I won't disagree with the users who mentioned the issue of cleaning the parts of the device. At this price, one would expect Philips' R&D department to have done a better job. In my case, in the first meal I prepared for my baby (sweet potato), the plastic lid stained immediately, even though I washed it relatively quickly. And this happens with anything that has a strong color as food. Apart from that, in terms of cutting and pureeing, it is quite good, as long as you control and stir the material that has accumulated under the blades a little. Very poor performance! I have had it for 1.5 months and as soon as it heats up a little, the steamer stops working! I read the instructions very carefully and follow them to the letter. I can't boil anything, especially when my baby's food depends on it and he is right next to me crying, waiting!
At first it worked great and I was satisfied, it was convenient for my child's food. After 3 months of use, the blender broke, so we took it for service (for free) and it came back making a lot of noise... After 1 month, the steamer broke too. It started leaking water and eventually completely stopped working. The service told us that it happens often, but they never fully fix it as it seems. In the end, boiling things in my pot seemed easier and I can still keep the broth for soup or pasta. We only use it as a blender now and the container is already cracked (1 year later)
My own experience is extremely positive! I am very satisfied with the machine! By carefully following the instructions, you can cook everything! It saved my hands! Very powerful mixer, gives a perfect texture to puree. If you cut the food to the right size, it's ready in 20 minutes! Sometimes a few drops drip, but I don't consider it a major problem! The attachments clean easily, just the inside quickly gets stained by carrots, sweet potatoes, etc. The only negative is that it doesn't have a long cord and it only reaches near the window in my kitchen because steam comes out during cooking and it can't be placed under a cabinet! I've had it for 5 months and I wouldn't change it for anything!!

Do not buy it, within 8 days of use, the container did not seal properly, causing water to leak out.
I have it for two and a half years! I am not satisfied because I have already changed the bin once because it did not fit well, and the second bin does the exact same thing after a while. It does not fit well and water comes out during boiling! Also, for the cutting function, I have to hold it with both hands for it to work properly, otherwise it doesn't work! Finally, it is not suitable for meat, especially for beef. I cooked beef once according to the instructions and it was quite undercooked!
Healthy baby food in 20'. If you read the instructions carefully, you will learn how to use it correctly from the beginning. I have used it for both of my children and I understand all the comments I read. It requires proper cleaning both in the accessories and in the water container. But I wouldn't go back to using a saucepan. I believe that it simply doesn't suit some people. I highly recommend it, good cooking!
Very practical steam cooker. As for the difficulty in cleaning that I read in previous comments, it's simply because there are many components.. The component with the holes, at least in my model, can be easily removed and cleaned. The texture of the cream is amazing while it also cooks meat cut into small pieces.. The pros are that you only have one machine in the kitchen for making the cream and not a pot, double boiler, bain-marie to reheat it.
Update: Unfortunately, 2 months later, with daily use, the timer of the steam cooker broke. You set it to cook for 20 minutes and it shuts off at 5. And when you set it again, it shuts off after one minute. I hope the problem will be resolved when I take it for service.
It saved us time. I recommend it to all parents. We avoided the five hundred little pots and its construction allows the liquids of the food not to be lost.
If there was a 0 rating, I would definitely give it. I don't usually write reviews, but this time I found the time so that other moms don't make the same mistake. It's the most useless household appliance I have ever bought. I ended up not using it, which says a lot.
1. It's difficult to clean, you have to be very meticulous. One of the bottoms has small holes where food gets stuck. I don't know if boiling some parts for sterilization is effective because no matter how much you scrub with a brush, something will always remain in the holes.
2. The design is completely wrong. The jug locks, but it's very easy to unlock. What do I mean? When you try to twist the jug to remove it and feed the baby... oh! What a miracle! It easily unlocks and guess where the food goes. It spills everywhere.
3. In steamer mode, it needs to be assembled first and then plugged in. Otherwise, it won't work. So, if you have the base connected to the power and then you attach the jug, it simply won't work. The same doesn't apply to the chopper. As a result, you waste your time trying to figure out what's wrong and why it's not functioning. Is it mentioned anywhere? No. You have to use your intuition and figure it out on your own.
4. It makes a lot of noise. More than any blender I have at home (it can be heard in the adjacent bedroom).
5. It has a very large size.
6. It can only accommodate small quantities.
7. Water leaks in places where it shouldn't.
It's truly a waste of money. I ended up boiling things in a pot and simply using a small blender that costs 1/10 of the price and is also quiet.
