It doesn't do such a good job on small patches of grass, but it doesn't make sense to use it there anyway. It doesn't want to hit stones, apart from what the chain cuts, it throws stones with great force to the point where it breaks the bumpers of lawnmowers. Obviously, there shouldn't be anyone or cars nearby as it throws stones at a long distance. Also, be very careful as it may struggle with tough grass and cotton, and the chain may not break in front of stone damage but inside the aluminum base. The chain stays in place with small screws made of soft material, and they can easily wear out from use and strain. If it comes off during work, it will damage the machine, so be very careful and only use it if necessary. After some use, replace it even preventively.
