AuZtralia is an adventure/exploration game for 1-4 players, set in an alternate reality of the 1930s. Its theme is inspired by Martin Wallace's A Study in Emerald. After the Restorationists' war, the northern lands were devastated and famine was the norm. Brave explorers set out to explore and build new lands. Unfortunately, after the war, the surviving Old Ones and their loyal human armies headed to the Australian outback to heal. Build a port, construct railways, mine, and farm food. You will need to prepare for the awakening. You will need to fight.
Everything you do in the game costs time, which is one of the most valuable resources in AuZtralia. At some point, the Old Ones will awaken and become active players. They begin to reveal themselves and move, with potentially devastating effects. You will need to prepare wisely for the awakening and may need to cooperate with others to defeat the most dangerous Old Ones.
Military units will help you locate, fight, and defend against nightmarish creatures that may be lurking at your door. Besides equipment, you will need to recruit personalities who possess the skills and resources to assist you.
Riches from the land, mixed with darkness and madness, await you in the outback. Will humanity prevail or will the Old Ones take their revenge?
By default, the game is semi-cooperative, where one person wins or everyone loses. The rule includes a fully cooperative variant.

Fantastic game, especially with 1-2 players (especially with the expansion) and with 3 players
