Excellent lens even many years later for 2022. If you don't need IS like I do, you can save 500 euros which is unnecessary unless you need it for videos, in which case you will need a tripod anyway. The lens without IS is sharper and the autofocus is silent and fast. The only negative is its weight, which is 1.3 kilograms, but you easily get used to it because it is a beast made of iron. Nowadays, lenses are made of plastic in some cases to reduce weight.
