Anxiety, shame, depression, defeatism, insecurity, threat, violence, and loneliness... Could all these evils that threaten humans have a common cause? Could we treat them without antidepressants, anxiolytics, sleeping pills? Could our body, our "pharmacy," as Hippocrates said, hide the cure for each disease?
In school, we learn history, geography, mathematics, and more, but nothing about how to be effective towards ourselves and consequently towards others. Wouldn't it be useful, for example, if we were taught what the stages of grief are, what anger is, what it means to avoid a conflict by preferring the solution of non-violence, instead of memorizing the names of the prophets of the Old Testament?
