It provides amazing sound separation in anything I listen to, from free jazz and musique concrete to krautrock, hip hop, ambient, and drone music. Additionally, it's the first time I've heard clear jazz cymbals! Choose it and you won't be disappointed. It will accompany you for years, as long as you prefer to replace the Shibata VM95 every 15-18 months.
