    Purchase 22/10/2020. I bought it for use on a desktop PC in case the Ethernet connection drops, so that I can connect via hotspot on my mobile phone for telecommuting.
    The first time I tried it, it worked fine, and I unplugged it from the USB port since I didn't need it.
    A little while later, when I tried it again, it didn't work.
    Specifically, as soon as I plug it into the USB port, it is recognized and then disappears from the USB devices after a few seconds.
    I tried it in other USB ports and it does the same thing.
    I also tried it on a laptop and it does the same thing.
    Conclusion: I would not recommend it to anyone - a waste of money.
    I bought a TP-Link Archer T2U Plus AC600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter and I'm satisfied.
