With the initial measurement of D3 at 13, taking 1½ pills per day (3000iu) consistently for over a year, I reached about 45. Another individual may need a little more or a little less to achieve desired levels. Nevertheless, it does the job. I should note that I never stop taking the vitamin and I won't stop.
I have been taking this specific supplement for about 4 years now. All this time, I thought I was taking a quality product and supporting a Greek company, so I felt good about it. However, just today I discovered that the second ingredient of the formulation is maltodextrin (which deceptively appears as modified food starch in English), one of the worst and most toxic substances. In addition to that, I saw that it contains talc (!), sucrose (processed white sugar), and other similar things. I have to say that despite daily consumption of half a tablet with absolute consistency after a fatty meal, I have not seen any dramatic difference. The last blood test I had done a year ago showed 38.8 ngr/mL, when the sufficiency ranges from 30 to 100 ngr/mL. As soon as I finish the batch I have, I will switch to a brand that does not contain such substances. With a little research, I saw that there are several better options at a similar price. The 2 stars are only because it covered my sufficiency, so it did something. Nevertheless, I would recommend staying away for the aforementioned reasons! Edit: It also has the less effective form of vitamin K2, in the form of MK-4 and not MK-7
Effective calcium intake, thanks to the formulation of the product with vitamin K2, which allows for the absorption of vitamin D3 by the body! Consult your physician for the ideal (for you) amount of vitamin D3, as this particular company has vitamin D3 with K2 formulations with different amounts per tablet with the ultimate goal of covering a broader range of patients with vitamin D3 deficiency
The best vitamin D in my opinion. I was taking this one with 2000 iu initially, but with daily use for a year, the levels increased a lot and now I take this one.
Excellent. It works provenly. I was constantly deficient (hematological measurements below normal, regarding D3). With one box (60 tablets), it reached normal levels. Recommended.
I am very satisfied, I had a deficiency of vitamin D3, I took another supplement with high IU to initially raise it, it went up and then dropped again over time, so after raising it again, I started taking this supplement for maintenance, one per day, and since then it has not dropped again, confirmed by my tests and my doctor agrees, I will continue taking it.
Measure your vitamin D levels with tests. It does not increase it at all. It is a fat-soluble vitamin, I took it after meals. My vitamin D levels did not increase at all. I tried another brand and my vitamin D levels increased. My doctor told me the same thing. It has not increased vitamin D levels in any patient who had this specific brand! I wonder what they are selling and how it has good reviews!
Prefer and always take it with a fatty meal. I don't mean necessarily bacon and butter. Any meal that contains fats, such as avocado, nuts, etc. In two months, my test scores increased by 10 points, where I previously had a deficiency
I had a problem with my nails! They had become like paper! I started taking these pills for 3 months and my nails recovered, they also helped boost my immune system because when everyone around me got sick, I only had two mild days!
Very good vitamin. The reason I am commenting is because I see some people suggesting dosage, etc. Do not trust a comment on skroutz, especially when it has no sources! Do your research (in reliable sources) or ask your doctor. Things are not so simple, nor are the needs the same for everyone. We are filled with internet doctors.
Taking two tablets per day (8000IU) for 5 days a week increases and maintains vitamin D3 levels at 75ng/ml in a person weighing 70 kilograms. This level is ideal for reducing autoimmune conditions and for somewhat resisting COVID-19. Do not listen to the notion that we should aim for 30ng, as this was the recommendation 50 years ago. All recent studies show that the benefits of D3 start at 50ng and above, while toxicity begins at 120ng and higher.
Years of vitamin deficiency! I have tried many other brands but also the same brand without results. This specific one reached 50 with just one box. No other product had achieved it.
I started using it because of Covid 19, as this specific combination is recommended for better overall protection against infections. The truth is, there is no comparison measure for me to understand if it works or not. What is certain is that I didn't get infected. I didn't have any side effects or any intestinal dysfunction. The company, however, is good and I trust it, which is why I give it 4 stars.
First of all, the initial description with the large headline (Uni-Pharma D3 Fix 1200iu + K2 45mg 60 tablets) is incorrect. If you pay attention to the product specifications, the quantity of vitamin K2 (MK-4) is 45μg (or mcg) and not mg. This means it is 1000 times smaller. Secondly, if someone searches the international literature for this specific type of vitamin K2, namely MK-4, they will notice that the minimum effective dose is 1.5mg, which is 1500μg. So, this particular dose is very small. However, in similar quantities, another type of vitamin K2 (MK-7), 100μg is sufficient, although more expensive.
Anyone who wants effective doses of vitamin K2 (MK-4) should look for supplements from abroad, where the price increases significantly
Very good. It must definitely be taken with a very fatty meal, otherwise it will be very difficult to absorb. I take it with breakfast. 3 free-range eggs, to also get additional vitamin K2 naturally. Also, it would be good to never stop taking vitamin D. Our diet does not adequately cover us and we can only synthesize it from the sun up to a limit (You see the other person struggling and they have vitamin D deficiency).
To see results, it takes at least three months of treatment, and it doesn't improve from one day to the next. Whoever believes that their vitamin D levels will increase without undergoing a three to six-month treatment is mistaken. I believe it is one of the best vitamins and it greatly helps the immune system and infections.
All these products, if not purchased randomly, but with some guidance from an expert, will bring the desired results. I find a negative review strange if it is not supported by some unsatisfactory tests (e.g. basic vitamin checks). 5 stars because it was great and bought again when needed.
