Much lower than expected. Low power. One of the two batteries I bought for 86 € each - genuine and with a genuine charger - was destroyed in less than a year and with few uses. I have Hilti for 20 years, a beast, and both batteries are still working perfectly.

Trigger response and hair trigger for low revs for that pricey product from Makita is absolutely garbage. I expected a lot better, plenty of cheaper brands got better ones. I guess this is some chinese built garbage they sell nowadays.

The best, it works with 3AH 18V and really kills it, I got it for €120 and now that the price has dropped, with closed eyes, guys. It drills through walls effortlessly, the drill goes into concrete, it hasn't been tested yet.

I have tried Milwaukee and DeWalt, in my opinion, this one has the best balance and overall weight of the three.

Very powerful, with hard use on concrete and 20mm iron.
Very light and perfectly balanced grip with the battery (5A).
The carrying and storage case is, as someone correctly described it, a fishing tackle box.
Cheap plastic and simple, inside fits, loose, a set with drills, screws, plugs, etc.
The machine is worth the money and if you can, spend about 300 euros that it costs at the moment, you will not regret it.

In replacement of an old Makita, it arrived just in time at a very good price and it is extremely powerful

Very powerful, quite lightweight. I use it daily for professional purposes for months now and it hasn't had any issues. If someone is looking for a lightweight and powerful impact driver, they should get it for 104 euros, with a battery and a Makpac as a gift. It's a steal. If you want something more powerful, go for the 481, which I also have and it's a beast in terms of power. It can turn hands and screw screws effortlessly, but it's quite heavy. That's why I bought this one. It's for special occasions. And don't worry about whether it's made in China or Romania or anywhere else. They all go through the same quality controls and are manufactured with the same specifications.

Excellent tool from Makita with enough power even for professional use. Compact, not the lightest in its category but perfectly balanced with the weight of the battery (3Ah). Brushless, which means greater power and longer machine life. Stable switches, convenient to use. Made in Romania with good quality plastic for a firm grip. Two areas that could be improved are the lack of design in the side handle, which is needed due to the power, and the inaccuracy of the LED light. Highly recommended for any use without hesitation.
