USB 3.0 Aluminum Hub with 4 ports, adding extra ports to your computer for connecting up to four additional USB peripheral devices such as external hard drives, USB sticks, keyboards, cameras, etc.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The length of the cable is quite satisfactory for a laptop, not for a PC. I have not connected many devices simultaneously to have an opinion.
I give it 5 stars because it does its job perfectly. I don't know what else to say about the product, it works great with the 3 devices I have, and indeed it has 3.0 ports. Maybe the cable could be an issue for some, and just to clarify, it's around 10 to 15 centimeters long
It keeps disconnecting every 5-6 minutes no matter what I connect to the hub!!! The mouse becomes annoying, especially with USB sticks, when I copy from/to the disk, after the disconnection I have to start the copy process all over again!! I wouldn't recommend it!!!
It worked fine for a few days, but then it stopped working if you put more than 2 things on it.
I returned it and got a cheaper one with a longer cable and an on/off button plus more ports. I don't know how long it will last, but it has remained functional for longer than this specific one.
The mouse malfunctions when I use it and it becomes annoying... It doesn't seem efficient when I use 2-3 ports simultaneously... I also connect an Ethernet network adapter and it experiences interruptions... I wouldn't recommend it.
I have been using it without any problem for about a month now, and if I compare it to two others (of a different brand) that I had bought earlier and threw away (they never worked), it deserves 5 stars. (Of course, I use it with a USB stick, microphone, and pen, and sometimes a printer. I haven't tried it with heavy loads - hard drives, etc. - or with external power supply, so I don't know how it will behave in such cases).
Good construction, depending on what you need it for. I have connected a mouse, keyboard, camera, and USB mobile phone, all great. As soon as I plugged in my flash drive (Samsung 128GB, 3.1), everything else disconnected. For this reason alone, I wouldn't buy it again. If you don't need it for a flash drive, it's fine.
Very good, and with a construction that doesn't look cheap.
What I like is that it has a small blue light and you can see if it has power.
Also, in my opinion, it has the right length: it has a 15cm cable so you can have it next to the laptop and not hanging.
Combined with Powertech USB 3.0 Cable USB-A male - USB-A female 1.5m (CAB-U123), due to the short length of the cable. Tested with a mouse and USB stick on a laptop with Windows 10. It worked perfectly. I have only had it for a day, but it seems to be a very high-quality construction.
The discreet blue lighting in the corner is a nice touch and it appears to be a durable build. I will come back if needed. It should be noted that it is indeed a metallic construction, and up close it is more compact compared to what we see in the picture.
First impressions are very good, I, who want it for peripherals, am very satisfied. I have connected a mouse, a mobile phone for droidcam, and a charger, and I don't see any disconnection or delay in data transfer.
The build quality is very good, it doesn't ring at all like some others, the USB ports are stable, and the metal casing makes it look quite durable.
The only thing left to see is its durability over time.
Today I received this specific product.
I tested it while having a mouse, speakers (Creative Pebble V2), an 8-year-old TURBO X cooler, and my phone (charging and simultaneously accessing saved files) and EVERYTHING was working FINE, without the need for additional power support!
Regarding the quality for its price, it is satisfactory, although I cannot yet form an opinion (I will make an additional comment in two months if I remember!).
I don't give it 5 stars because I would have liked a slightly longer cable. I'm not saying it has a short cable (15cm) or that it didn't suit me. The connections are good and there are no interruptions!
It is a value for money purchase, I am satisfied!
Positive
+ The build quality is quite good.
+ I connected a mouse, camera, and USB flash drive... and I had no problem.
Negative
- The length of the cable is very short.
- It couldn't handle an external WD hard drive / 4GB with the extra power supply activated
I use it for Razer headphones, kb, mouse, pad on a laptop's USB 2.0. I haven't had any disconnections so far (3 months). I expected that I might need a hub with an external power source, but in the end, everything is fine.
I bought this product for 16€ on October 11, 2019.
- It is of good quality, it can hold 2 external hard drives, a mouse, and a USB flash drive comfortably without extra power supply.
- It looks more expensive with its aluminum casing.
- The speeds are not compromised.
- It is compatible with both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.
- It has a microUSB port to connect it to another USB port or a mobile charger to provide more power to the USB hub if you have connected power-hungry gadgets.
- It can receive and deliver 5v @ 5a from the USB 3.0 port of the device and from the optional microUSB connection to provide more power to the devices.
- It is worth its money

The only negative thing it has is its small cable.

Taking into consideration the previous reviews, I proceeded with the purchase of this specific product and I can say that I am completely satisfied. The reason is that you can connect two external hard drives together without needing an external power supply! However, you have the option to connect an external power supply via micro USB if needed, which is very good! In simple words, if you are going to spend 15 euros on a USB hub, then don't think about it, just buy this one!
