Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Although it is the most expensive cable on the market, it is not complete. (4 pins are not connected)
For the job I bought it for, it is not a problem (image transfer).
The cable is excellent. It has certified transmission at 48gbps, which is supported by HDMI version 2.1. Its low price compared to other cables makes it very attractive. It practically supports a data communication protocol for image (video bandwidth) with a bandwidth of up to 48Gbps (video resolution up to 10k), making it extremely fast and fully future-proof. It supports ALL the features of previous versions (1.0, 1.4, 2.0, 2.0a, 2.0b) and with its transmission range, it has the following capabilities:
1) Maximum resolution of 10K
2) Maximum frame rate of 120Hz
3) Wide Color Gamut
4) Dynamic Metadata (HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, Technicolor ST2094-30)
5) eARC (enhanced audio return channel)
6) Variable refresh rates (VRR)
7) Auto low latency mode (ALLM).
It is braided.
The digital signal passes through without any alteration and the information is correctly rendered on the display medium without any signal interruptions (black screen) or "broken" or "distorted" pixels. ALL protocols for Wide Color Gamut, high dynamic range (HDR), as well as metadata content capabilities (Dolby Vision, HDR10+, etc.) that translate into better image quality, are supported by the HDMI version of the cable.
As for the sound, please do not think that it "colors" the sound, expands it, enhances the mid-range frequencies and treble, or deepens the bass, or any such inaccuracies and technical inconsistencies. You only encounter these things naturally in analog cables. Here we are talking about a digital cable that only carries a digital signal. The digital signal will either pass through without any alteration or present errors in its transmission, which can result in signal interruptions, inability to decode a high-format audio signal (e.g. DOLBY ATMOS, DTS-X), complete inability to transmit the digital signal, etc. If the high-format signal is not transmitted correctly, the device receiving it (AV receiver, etc.) will attempt to "downgrade" to the immediately available lower bitrate signal. During the encoding of the high-format sound by DOLBY and DTS labs, all the gradations are digitally embedded, for example, the same digital file contains DOLBY ATMOS, DOLBY TRUE HD, DOLBY DIGITAL 5.1 (AC3), EXTENDED DOLBY DIGITAL (EAC3), and so on, each with its corresponding bitrate. The same applies to DTS, meaning DTS-X, DTS HD MASTER AUDIO, DTS-ES, DTS. Each decoding device (digital receiver) will decode the corresponding format depending on which audio formats it supports. What makes the sound better or worse is how well a digital cable can transmit the high-bitrate audio format (DOLBY ATMOS, DTS-X) supported by the respective digital medium, and whether it can be reproduced with high "clarity" by the decoding device. This specific cable with version 2.1 CAN TRANSFER UNALTERED ALL SOUND FORMATS. The actual format that will be rendered is a matter of support from each medium (amplifier, DSP).
The Belkin Ultra HD High Speed cable is top-notch because it supports everything that technology has to offer today and even has plenty of "room" for future technology in terms of transfer speed needs. Therefore, those who have a compatible display medium (personally, I have the LG OLED TV 65C9PLA) and devices such as Xbox One X, PS4, PC, Blu-ray player, and want the best interconnection cable in the price category with these features, the Belkin is a top choice. I should mention at this point that, for some reason, Belkin does not indicate the HDMI version of the cable (2.1) on the box, so be sure to look for the "Ultra HD High Speed" label to ensure that it runs at 48Gbps and is indeed the desired version (2.1).
Attention, the cable is only available up to two meters in length. In terms of supported protocols, it doesn't really have any significant difference from the AV10175bt2M version (€38) of Belkin, except for the build quality. Personally, I don't think it justifies its current purchase price.
