Relatively easy to assemble, nice color, and gives a very nice feel to the space with the lighting.
On the negative side, the low quality of materials, especially the shade, which is essentially a stiff cardboard that you have to "attach" to the base of the shade yourself. It tears if you make the slightest mistake, and in the end, it remains somewhat crumpled, not stretching to the base.
In short.......? You get what you pay for!
Terrible, it arrived partially broken and broke again with the slightest touch. Its plastic parts are useless. Even the hat's brim is made of plastic. Cheap.
Really better than what I expected, especially for 26 euros. It looks very nicely set up and the light that comes out of the fabric is very good.
Personally, I didn't encounter any problem in setting it up, which took me minimal time. I believe that if you have set up even 1-2 times other furniture, it will be a piece of cake. Overall, very satisfied!
First of all, the legs are not made of wood but NDF and it takes a little effort to straighten it out!!! The fabric is good and lets the light through!!! However, in this category, the price would be over 100€
Quite poor quality overall, but from a distance it looks okay.
The main problem is that:
1. it has a screw that needs to be inserted from underneath, but it doesn't fit a human hand or tool. Poor construction.
2. the socket doesn't have screws to hold the cables in place, resulting in poor contact and inconsistent lamp operation. Additionally, due to the same issue, when I pulled the cable out of the socket as I normally would, the cables inside touched each other and caused a short circuit, resulting in the main switch of the house tripping
It is a beautiful lamp, the color gives a nice aesthetic result. It sets up easily without instructions, the only small issue I found was with the attachment of the shade, I had to tape it from the inside with adhesive tape so it wouldn't be visible.
For its price, it's okay but overall nothing special, it adds something to the space but it's not bad. The negatives are the very poor quality construction materials. It requires attention during assembly because something can easily break.
Beautiful and nice, but it has some issues with its assembly (difficult attachment of the hat and tightening with the body) and it arrived with a problem in the wiring, I had to open it up to properly connect the internal wires because it wouldn't turn on.. other than that, it's very beautiful
In one word, Perfect. It produces amazing lighting, and the quality is simply good. I hope it will be even better for its price. I didn't expect anything better.
I received it today - very bad experience and the ONLY reason it doesn't get 1 star is because it looks good in the end.
Let's start:
- Non-sealed packaging.
- Does not include user instructions. On the back of the box, there is something printed like "Assemble the hat, screw the legs, and it's ready".
- There is no contents list so you know if something is missing.
- The hat is a plastic sheet wrapped in a roll, tied "crosswise" in a clumsy way at the back, with a high risk of the sheet getting wrinkled and the purchase becoming useless.
- Except for the 3 wooden legs, the entire frame is plastic.
- The two large plastic "rings" that give shape to the hat are visible through the semi-transparent hat, both when the lamp is off and when it's on. It is definitely not opaque as shown in the product photos.
- The fitting of the pieces is poor. The 2 out of the 3 legs required a lot of force to fit into the plastic connector.
- The top ring of the hat had one of the 4 pins for holding the sheet broken. I had to use glue at that specific point.
- The most important thing: the attachment system of the assembled hat to the plug is problematic. The two plastic rings (one on the base of the hat and one that screws onto the plug) do not fit together in any way as implied and depicted in the product photos, and you need glue to join them.
- AFTER joining them, when you try to screw the assembled hat onto the plug, you realize that the hat is very loose. I had to make something like spacers using folded black electrical tape, with a thickness enough to provide stability but still allow for screwing.
In the end, AFTER all these tricks, and after positioning the lamp in such a way that the steel "seam"/joint of the hat is hidden in a wall, the final result is beautiful.
I have photos of the problematic pieces as well as the final result - it's a shame that I can't attach them.
If you have the patience and time, and you don't mind the risk of having more broken pins, or some legs not fitting at all, or damaging the hat in any simple movement and wasting your money, then give it a try.
But for the majority of people, it's simply not worth the trouble.
