The TP-LINK system performs flawlessly. The pairing was easy and quick, and within 1-2 minutes I had a connection. The download speed is much better compared to a wireless extender I had in that position. It's worth its money.
When the hundred-meter line becomes a forty-five to fifty-meter line at a distance of no more than five meters with open doors and visual contact of the two transmitters, then it is only one star for it
At home, the speed test shows 24, and on the computer in the room connected to the tpllink, it shows 23... I will revert back when the speed is upgraded
The only reason for the 3 stars is that in 100 lines I get 40 at a distance of 3-4 meters... maybe it's because I used the stock Ethernet that comes with the package... I will change it and come back.
PS: Ok, I changed the socket and everything is fine, I have a loss of about 15 out of 100 speed.
PS2: In the end, it's because I have it in a power strip, but unfortunately I don't have another socket nearby... I will settle for the 50 Mbps it reaches
It does what it says.
Plug and play, no need for anything (I have been using it for a year).
I provide internet from the fourth floor to the first (three-phase installation)
Evaluation after approximately 1 and a half years, Purchase on 3/10/2019
The product is flawless in every aspect and has not changed at all since the day I bought it.
I have not noticed any difference in speeds between direct connection with a cable to the router and connection through the product. However, as I have read, in many cases, poor quality copper can be responsible for low speeds, etc. I have it connected from the living room where the router is, to the bedroom, which is literally the furthest room in the house (110 sq.m). I had no issues with disconnections no matter how long I had it, and despite the fact that the port on the device receives a lot of pressure due to where I have placed it, it continues to function normally. In terms of going into standby mode, I had no issues. It is connected to my computer, and every time the computer is turned on, within 3 seconds of it opening, the connection activates and works normally. Even after extended computer usage (10+ hours), I have not encountered ANY issues. To synchronize them, it is not difficult at all, as you press the buttons on each device and they detect each other, they are connected within 1 minute. ATTENTION!!!
In houses with THREE-PHASE electricity, the connection will not work if each device is placed in a different phase! At 27 euros + 3 for shipping, it is excellent.
I would recommend it to anyone with their eyes closed!
I bought this product to improve my internet connection since I used to have an antenna and the internet would cut off sometimes. Today, when the product arrived, I plugged it in right away, paired it, and ran a speed test to check the connection. The results were terrible (the antenna had twice the performance). Unfortunately, I still haven't figured out where the problem is.
I should have it for about a year and a few months after I bought it, it started disconnecting more and more frequently. tp-link hasn't released any new firmware version, nor did anything from the program help to adjust them, so there is no solution.
As soon as I connected it to the router and then to the socket in the other room, it started working immediately. It doesn't freeze at all and it has a very good signal! I recommend it!
Reliable and stable, it does not disconnect and does not have any issues or delays. It loses 10mbps on a 100mbps line. (On the router it reaches 90-96 while with powerline it reaches 74-85.) Therefore, this could possibly negatively affect its performance on 24mbps lines although I have not tested it. I use it at a relatively long distance, in a 130 sqm house, literally from one end of the house to the other. They are easily set up, I simply plugged them into the socket and they synchronized on their own, I didn't even need to press the button or do anything. Generally, I have "forgotten" them in the socket and they simply do their job without bothering me.
I cannot say that it frequently disconnects, but it does have its interruptions. However, I am very satisfied. Among its positives is the very easy installation.
