The fried potatoes, (this burning issue that bothers us all) do become crispy, with just 2 tablespoons of oil, and this is to achieve even heat distribution during cooking. They are not like deep-fried potatoes, of course, but they turn out better than in the oven.
In terms of cleaning, it just requires attention because the basket gets burnt everywhere and specific movements are needed to remove food residues from inside. It can, of course, be put in the dishwasher.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. I have also cooked steak and it turned out wonderful. In its category, there are many videos with recommended recipes and healthier food cooked in the right way. I highly recommend it.

Overall, it is a good product, easy to use with many preset settings, the bin is easy to clean, good build quality.
Anything frozen or pre-fried (such as small potato chips or penne) is cooked very well and quickly (requires occasional shaking).
With fresh ingredients, it takes longer to cook compared to a traditional fryer, and the ingredients come out dry due to the air frying process (a little oil helps with the final result).
Fresh potatoes should be thinly sliced for faster and better cooking, when cut into very thin slices, they make nice chips.
Its function is very similar to a small oven that only cooks with air, resulting in the bottom part of the ingredients being less cooked, and larger pieces require shaking or flipping.
It definitely cooks healthier than traditional fryers with longer cooking time and consumption, but health requires sacrifices!
