  Danganronpa is a murder mystery game series that was originally created for the Vita, and when it failed, it jumped to the PS4.
  The story tells that your character receives a scholarship to a school for Ultimates. That is, a school for those considered authorities in a certain field and of the necessary age. The fields are not limited to socially acceptable hobbies, as they also include ultimate mechanics, ultimate street fighters, and ultimate otakus. However, your character has no talent, as they are the lucky one chosen by tradition each year by chance.

  A few minutes after your arrival at the school, however, you lose consciousness and wake up with your classmates in a locked room. A robotic demonic bear presents itself as the headmaster and tells you that the only way to escape is to kill each other. If someone commits a murder and the others do not find them, that person is allowed to leave while the rest are executed. If, however, they are discovered, only that person is executed and the others remain trapped until the next murder.
  The games encourage you to get to know the characters one by one and build relationships with them, without knowing who will be killed or executed next. And if there's something the series fantastically does, it's breaking expectations.

  Although it doesn't have good replayability once you learn the story, the games are huge (40 hours for the main story, 55 with the extras each), and in all Danganronpa games, once you finish them, you can play an alternative version of the story where no murders occur and you can interact with your classmates as much as you want.
  Although the first two games were made for the Vita, you don't miss much from the lack of a touch screen. The third game has graphics on the same level as the first two, so you won't see any major differences. There is a language option for English and Japanese, and the entire game is subtitled.

  WARNING! The package includes all three Danganronpa games that have been released. While it is not necessary to have played the first one to enjoy the later ones, it is necessary to NOT have played the later ones in order to enjoy the first one, and the same applies to the second and third games. In other words... Play them in order!
  The first Danganronpa has the subtitle "Trigger Happy Havoc" in larger letters at the end of the logo, so be careful not to get confused and mistake it for a spin-off.

  A remarkable trilogy of Japanese mystery games that I initially hesitated to try, due to its unique style. Having now completed the series, I can say that it is worth it and more. All three games have a similar goal and gameplay, focusing on the story, character development, and solving whodunnit cases. The characters are all different and have their own distinct personalities. The games' mascots are something else and provide plenty of laughter at times, while also conveying various messages about life and its situations. The package includes two discs with the three games and a small art book, which adds a nice touch to the collection. I would recommend watching some gameplay videos of the games and if you can tolerate their gameplay, do not hesitate to purchase them and immerse yourself in their well-crafted and polished world. They are masterpieces in their genre.
