Really flawless product. High precision construction at the millimeter level. Together with SAMSUNG 870 EVO 500GB SSD, it was installed in TOSHIBA SATELLITE C855 on the first try & without much hassle. Top combination for an upgrade with little money.

I installed it on a Dell Optiplex 7010 with a Samsung 860 EVO SSD, I put the operating system inside and the old machine was flying, I also put the mini DVD cover in front and you can't see anything. It's a very good choice for work. The price has also dropped, I bought it for 8 euros plus 3 shipping costs.

In a 10-year-old laptop (Dell XPS L702X), it was installed perfectly because the drive was broken. I also put the original cover on top and it looks like a factory one with an SSD, and it is very fast. However, I ended up changing the position of the SSD because unfortunately it couldn't boot.

It does what it says, it gets the job done but it is very fake but it works. First, check the mm of the DVD rom slot

Excellent solution for a laptop if you want to add a second HDD or SSD. Value for money is also excellent, I highly recommend it!

I upgraded to a 7-year-old Toshiba Satellite laptop with ease (it is 12.7mm thick) and it worked exceptionally well with an SSD that I took out from a desktop. I found it for 5 euros, so I consider it economical. It also includes a screwdriver, which is not bad at all. You can also use the plastic packaging to store the DVD driver and throw it away in the trash in 2-3 years max.

In my case, it fits loosely from the bottom and it also requires attention because in order to fit in the laptop, it needs the corresponding small accessory that was likely attached to the DVD driver. It is a small iron object with 2 screws on the Toshiba, which is not included in the package, but without it, the Caddy can suddenly come out for a walk.

I had difficulty installing the SSD into the caddy because it seemed fragile, but I was mistaken. It is rugged and can withstand pressure. Force it, press the hard drive to snap it in place. It doesn't give in. Excellent.
