The X-Stream 9 serves as a network player, DAC, CD player, and PC/MAC player via the asynchronous USB-B X-MOS port, and it includes a DAB/DAB+ and FM digital receiver. The sound quality is excellent regardless of the medium used.

Our design philosophy for the universal source is "Infinity." Our engineers have integrated the best technologies to provide comfortable listening without aggressiveness and with absolute clarity. The audio output and decoding have received special attention, and the signal conversion is supported by the AKM AK4490 converter.

The AK4490 is part of a new generation of high-quality 32-bit DACs based on AKM's VELVET SOUND architecture, which has been widely adopted by renowned audio companies. This technology achieves sound quality details thanks to low distortion architecture and 32-bit digital filter processing.

The AK4490 supports up to 768 kHz PCM and 11.2 MHz DSD, making it suitable for high-resolution source playback. The DAC features five digital filters for optimal sound reproduction.

The network playback allows the management of streaming services (Spotify, Qobuz, etc.) and playback of your music library from local storage. Compatible with Airplay and DLNA, it can be controlled via the ADVANCE PLAYSTREAM app.

The X-Stream 9 includes a CD player that ensures stable and quality playback. It supports CD, CD-R/RW, CD-DA (MP3/WMA) playback.

The universal source also features a USB-B X-MOS input for direct connection to a PC or MAC. It supports playback of files up to DSD.

It can be set as a variable or fixed output for perfect matching with your amplifier's input level. The sound is controlled via the remote or the device.

As a DAC, the X-Stream 9 features 3 optical inputs and 2 optical outputs. Additionally, it has balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) analog stereo outputs, as well as digital optical and coaxial outputs.

The X-Stream 9 integrates a BDD (Bluetooth Direct Digital) port for connection to the Bluetooth digital receiver X-FTB 01, ensuring CD quality across all your sources.
