The UX1 is a network drive, DAC, CD player, and drive for PC/MAC via the USB-B X-MOS asynchronous input, as well as a digital DAB/DAB+ receiver and FM tuner.

Regardless of the files of your favorite music, whether from a PC or MAC computer, smartphone, tablet, network hard drive, NAS, or CD, you can enjoy high-quality sound.

The sound output and decoding have been given special attention. The signal conversion is supported by the AKM's AK4490.

The AK4490 is part of a new generation of high-spec 32-bit DACs, based on AKM's VELVET SOUND architecture. This technology delivers high-quality sound details with a low-distortion architecture, in addition to 32-bit digital filter processing.

The AK4490 supports up to 768kHz PCM and 11.2MHz DSD, suitable for high-resolution audio source playback. Five digital filters are integrated into the DAC for optimal audio reproduction.

The UX1 also has 3 optical inputs and 2 optical outputs.

The Bluetooth Direct Digital (BDD) digital receiver allows the connection of the Bluetooth X-FTB 01 digital receiver. This receiver incorporates APTX technology which ensures CD quality across all your sources.
