This specific filter was purchased after extensive research on Skroutz and other similar websites. The main factors were the price-quality ratio of the materials and the numerous positive reviews from other consumers who had used it for a relatively long period of time and had reached safe conclusions. I live in a small town with non-potable tap water, so buying a filter was a necessity. In the three weeks that I have had it, I have observed the following:
1. Excellent quality materials and sturdy construction.
2. Small discreet size that is aesthetically pleasing and does not hinder daily tasks at the sink.
3. Very easy to install by anyone (woman, man, teenager, or elderly). Simply screw it onto the faucet and it is ready to use.
4. Because it attaches to the faucet, it does not take up space on the kitchen counter or in a cabinet.
5. Very user-friendly and meets all household needs.
6. With an integrated wheel, the desired water flow for a given moment can be easily adjusted. It offers three water flow options.
The first is the regular faucet flow (unfiltered water) at any desired pressure, the second is the so-called "rain" flow, which is also unfiltered water and is convenient for washing the sink, fruits, and vegetables - also at any desired pressure, and the third is the filtered water flow, which is in "rain" mode but also at any desired pressure. Therefore, by simply turning the wheel on the faucet, one can choose the type of water and the desired flow. Very easy and convenient.
7. In the three weeks that I have been using it continuously, I have not noticed any flaws or leaks when the faucet is closed. If any issues arise over time, I will definitely come back to revise my evaluation.
8. There is no difference in the taste of the water, and the reason is that even before using the filter, I drank bottled water and not tap water due to its unsuitability. Therefore, I can say that it has the same clean taste as bottled water.
9. Finally, by opening a lid on top of it, the filter can be seen, and from there one can determine when it is time to replace it. The store where I purchased it informed me that it should be replaced every 6 months or after consuming 1500 liters (whichever comes first). Personally, I will replace it every 4 months just to be safe, as the cost of the replacement filter is affordable.
I hope I helped. Happy holidays with health and stay safe.
5/2/21 Last update of the review: It has been almost three months since the purchase and installation of the filter, and I have to report that I continue to be very satisfied with its performance and efficiency. It does not leak when the faucet is closed (the basic requirement is to screw it tightly onto the faucet from the beginning), the water flow remains the same as in the first days, and overall everything works perfectly. I have attached photos of the filter with the water flow options it offers, so you can have a visual of its operation (closed, regular flow, rain, filtered rain, and direct filling of a bottle from the filter). I highly recommend it.
Good, but you can no longer find the old good spare parts (gold letters). Instead, they sell you something inferior with silver letters (of course at the same price as the old ones). Maybe if you find filters from abroad. Otherwise here, it's difficult.

I have been using it for about 3 years now. The last 2 replacement filters I purchased are garbage, they changed the type of the original filter and put in a fake one that from the start has a lower flow and in a month it runs like it's at the end of its period.
The purchase was made about 3 months ago, and after communication I had with the company representative in Greece for information regarding the filters, I was told that the filters need to be changed every 6 months (for a family of 4) and depending on usage, and I would also realize that a change is needed by seeing the reduction in water flow. Thus it happened, but from the 2nd month, and we have happily reached the 3rd month of use with the same filter and the flow has reached a desperate state, meaning waiting 1 hour to fill a glass of water. And I say to order a new filter......... And what do my blue-green eyes see....... The worst reviews for the filters due to their change (for the worse, of course) from the manufacturing company. Of course, I ended up ordering a new filter for 2 reasons. 1) because I was caught unprepared - uninformed regarding the filters and I haven't had time to research another filter brand, so I wouldn't be left without filtered water until I decide on a new device. 2) just to confirm 100% the bad reviews I read on Skroutz (and have already experienced) about the replacement filters. The good-old filters had golden letters and a transparent plastic cover to see the condition of the filter inside. The new filters have silver letters and a plastic cap without being able to see inside the filter. It's a shame because it's a very good device. Before you buy, read the recent reviews of the filters!!!!!!!!
The first time I use the product, I have been using it for 1 week (with the silver letters) and I noticed a big difference in the taste of the water and the smell it had! It doesn't lose water anywhere, it works well. For some who write that it splashes outside, keep in mind that I experienced this too because before you install it, you need to remove the old filter that every common faucet has, which also has a black rubber that needs to be removed as well. Mine was stuck from the minerals and wasn't visible!!
Until two years ago, it was the best. Now the filter is subpar, much inferior to the Japanese one. It looks like a bad copy with logos that are only similar but in silver color instead of the gold it had before. Lighter and without a glass top to see the condition of the filter. Probably some other company secured the name in Greece and thought let's take advantage of the good image to sell something expensive while making the product bad. If you find only the serious filters that are made in Japan, it's worth it.
I know that there probably isn't a similar product that does this, but I would like the filtered water to be able to come out like a regular faucet, with a stream, for easy bottle filling
After two purchases I made in the 1st month, it stopped producing water and only dripped a drop that you need to have a lot of patience to fill the glass. Also, the 2nd one had a leak at the top.
It works well but the price of replacement filters is outrageous and not-sustainable. Additionally, you must replace the whole plastic piece and not just the filter inside which is very bad for the environment. I regret my purchase.
Initially, with its own filter, it was perfect. With the new filters I replaced it with, in no time the water flow dramatically decreased and I've already taken it apart and I'm looking for another solution... Stay away!!!!
I've been using it for a year. Until I needed to buy new filters (I had long life with gold letters), it worked perfectly. With the new filters 1500 with gray letters that I found, the water flow decreased excessively after two weeks. I'm looking for another brand now..

I decided to give it a try since it has so many reviews. Initially, it is indeed as the most recent comments say. It is the product with the silver letters. I haven't tried the other one, so I can't compare. However, for me, it was leaking water from the adapter that screws onto the faucet, no matter how many times I tried to install it and how visually correct the application seemed.

After 2 years of use, I am satisfied, but I don't know if it does what it promises. It would be good to have a test in a lab. If the installation is not done well, there are leaks... and you need to be careful not to take everything in hand.

Unfortunately, I am experiencing what others are saying as well. The new filters with the gray letters are unacceptable. The flow decreases at a rapid rate daily, to the point that after 25-30 days it drips and needs to be changed. I informed the store and to their credit, they accepted to take the device, clean it, and replace the filters for me. However, nothing changed... Don't be fooled by the good reviews, as they pertain to the previous version. Look for something else.
Quite good construction, in terms of quality it could be a bit sturdier as a build but for its price, it is quite value. The water quality is very good. However, I struggled to screw it onto the faucet but it might also be my faucet's fault in this. Other than that, indeed the installation is very easy
I have it as a student, it does extremely good work, completely different and clean taste, just generally when using the filter (any) don't have the water too strong, so it can filter properly
No one should buy it. As a filter, it's fine. It broke on me and there are no spare parts. I called the place where I bought it and the company told me that they don't carry spare parts. There are other options available.

It breaks very easily unfortunately and sprays water everywhere. A big disappointment for a Japanese product. I bought it 6 months ago. (It's the second one that has broken) Not worth it at all. The bad thing is that I have to buy it again because I already have the expensive replacement filters.
Good, it does its job, adjusts very easily to almost all faucets, I would like it to be a little more affordable to say that its purchase is worth 100%.
Excellent. Better than bottled non-ironically. Good water flow for what it is. 2-3 seconds more to fill a simple glass compared to a regular faucet. Be careful with the adapters if the threads are eaten by plastic, you will need to find replacements. I saw female replacements sold individually, but male ones are only sold in a set that includes all 4 as they originally come together. I got the set for 5 euros from a store after A LOT of searching. I hope to spare someone the trouble. IMPORTANT!!! At the store, they told me that something is going on with the suppliers in Japan and they have stopped sending both the filter and its replacements and are waiting to hear news for now. Because many other users, like me, have noticed reduced availability and increased prices. 14/02/2024 Note: this accessory is very useful if you can't find a male adapter and can essentially connect a female adapter to a faucet with a female socket. https://www.skroutz.gr/s/50300417/Waterfresh-Antaptoras-gia-Filtra-Nerou-EG-PF-22-24.html?adv_c=o3ymig%3D%3D--xtGGfMjXiYWPGVVu--96DUNp%2F1IXSNB%2BBjFvNTTA%3D%3D
It fixed the water flow on the faucet along with its filtration. As for how well it cleans the water, I don't know because I'm not an expert. But the quality of the materials was very good and it was easy to install.
Inside the package there are 4 adapters, so one will fit our faucet. It seems well-made and is easy to install. There are no leaks. When using water only from the faucet and not from the filter, the water comes out a little more "outward" than it did without the filter. In smaller sinks, there may be splashes during washing. It seems to do the job and the water doesn't smell and has the right taste. With the (easy) replacement every 4-6 months, it is also economical. Everything is fine for now.
By far the best water filter. The only downside unfortunately is that the handle, after a lot of use (and I mean a lot), breaks. However, this does not affect its functionality, so still 5 stars.
For now, it looks good. It has very good pressure and no leaks, but leaks start after 3-4 years in all cases, we'll see.
Friends who have the more expensive filter tell me it has a difference, so I will also get the more expensive one in the second round, it's not about playing with the quality of the water.
Great difference with and without filter. For a home where you can't intervene with holes and such for a regular countertop filter, I think it's the best.
I have been using it for 2 weeks, good construction, easy installation, definitely removes annoying odors. I don't know if the filter really keeps all that it claims.

In recent years, we only drank bottled water, as the difference from tap water was significant, as I could taste the chlorine directly from the tap water. With the installation of the filter, the taste of chlorine disappeared. Finally, there will also be a return on investment in a few months, as we used to spend an average of at least 20-25 euros per month on plastic bottles.
