In this book that you hold in your hands, dear reader, God grants us the opportunity to narrate the life and martyrdom of a Saint of our Church, who was previously a magician and servant of demons. However, he sincerely repented for what he had done, believed in Christ, and was baptized as a Christian. And not only that. He also became a priest of God from being a priest of demons as he was before. Finally, he was deemed worthy to be ordained as a bishop of the Church. This is about Saint Cyprian from Antioch in Syria, who lived in the 3rd century AD. The life of Cyprian was also connected with the life of the virgin Justina, who shared the same martyrdom with him. We then include some prayers of Saint Cyprian and our Church against witchcraft and "the fiery arrows of the evil one, deceitfully aimed at us." Finally, we close the book with the hymn service of the Holy Hieromartyr Cyprian and the Holy Virgin Martyr Justina, who are celebrated on the same day, October 2nd, the day of their martyrdom.
