This is a case to put an M2 SATA (not NVME) in. I use it when I want to clone an M2 in a dock or generally do anything without needing to put it in a regular M2 slot on the motherboard. It is convenient and functional, I just wish it opened a little easier. It is a snap-on case without screws, the only screw is for the M2, that well-known little one. The package also includes extra screws and a small screwdriver.

Did you find this review helpful? She does her job just fine. She loses the fifth star from me only because the screw for securing the M.2 disk (CAUTION! SATA, B key NOT NVMe, M key), being completely at the back of the case and having a wide head, prevents the lid from closing. It should be slightly (one millimeter) more inside. I had to skip it, it's not a substantial problem because the disk is held in place by the case when it is closed and it won't come loose, but it remains a construction flaw. However, I must add that it may not be the case's fault but the specific disk I put inside, a LiteOn from a DELL laptop, which may be slightly longer than the 80mm of the 2280 specification, and I mention this because it gave me trouble in another case as well.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful? The product will probably work fine if used correctly. HOWEVER, for those who don't know, like I didn't know, it is not possible to convert an M.2 NVME to SATA, so those of you who have relatively new M.2 drives, pay attention if they are NVME or SATA. This adapter only works with SATA M.2 drives
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Recent purchase, I would advise future buyers to pay attention to this specific aspect because it is type B and not M. If the gap is on the right, it is type B, if it is on the left, it is M. Be careful not to put it on the other side because there is a possibility of damaging the disc.
