The K 5 Compact combines maximum ease of use with full power. Thanks to the innovative hose storage system, the high-pressure hose can easily be folded around the front cover after use and secured with a rubber band, making it ready for transport. Due to its compact size, the machine is easily transported and can be stored anywhere, whether in the car's trunk or on a shelf. The two carrying handles, the height-adjustable telescopic handle, and the option for horizontal or vertical use of the device ensure more comfort during use. Additionally, it is equipped with a Quick Connect gun, an 8-meter high-pressure hose, a Vario-Power (VPS) high-pressure lance, a turbo nozzle, and a water filter. The K 5 Compact high-pressure washer, with its water-cooled motor and surface performance of 40 m²/h, is ideal for regular cleaning of medium-level dirt.
In case of stubborn dirt, it is equipped with an FJ3 nozzle with a powerful foamer. The washing unit comes with an 8-meter high-pressure hose that wraps around the front "shell" of the device, a 5-meter power cable, a fan, and mud nozzles.
The hose can be rolled up, secured with a rubber band, and used immediately for the next task.
The water-cooled motor impresses with its exceptional operating life and high power.
The telescopic aluminum handle can be extended for easy transport and removed again for storage.

The machine is very good and very powerful coming from a K2 of several years. The reason for the one star is that after 5 months my adjustable nozzle developed a problem, it doesn't have the same pressure it had at the beginning, in front it seems to be spitting water at some point and its performance has dropped significantly only with this specific attachment. I have used the machine 5-6 times. I spoke with Karcher and they informed me that the warranty does not cover it and that the nozzle and all attachments are out of warranty because they are considered consumables. Essentially, it only covers the motor in short. I am completely disappointed with Karcher and I will not buy anything again. I am making this review so that if someone else is thinking of buying from this company, they should think very seriously about it!

Good build quality, all the necessary accessories, and with the turbo, it cleans almost everything for household use. For something more powerful, you go for the K7 or the professional one. It works continuously with the high-pressure motor and doesn't need anything else!

Very powerful machine. It has very good pressure. Perfect for a house with a yard, etc. The only hassle is with the cables and hoses when washing balconies. If you wash, it's terrible, the car, bike, etc., there is no problem. Very sturdy construction. And of course, quite heavy. But this shows that it is a decent product, not a fake. The accessories are very nice. Nozzles, gun, hose, etc. I've wanted to get a pressure washer for years, but they were too expensive. At €248, this particular K5 is great. For more details, I will come back.
I had the older K5 which was more powerful and its watts were close to those of today's K7 but also more expensive. So today's K5 is not a power monster, it just does its job decently and is relatively user-friendly because you don't constantly need a 16-amp socket to lift it.
Very good for its price, it is of good quality and more than enough for the average user. If someone wants more power, they should go for the K7.
Very powerful machine for household use, the air cooling mechanism helps it to operate continuously and tirelessly. The turbo it has loosens everything and requires caution on delicate surfaces
Very high quality and much less noisy than the K3 I had bought 6 years ago. Very good build quality and extremely compact (saves a lot of space in the external closet) ONLY if you have the willingness to assemble and disassemble it every time. If you want it for frequent use, it is tiring. If you want it for everyday use, then you won't disassemble it, so you lose the advantage of compactness. Here it lost one star.
I was disappointed in its power. It is more powerful than the K3 but just a little... you won't see significant differences for sure. Here it lost the other star.
One good thing is that it can be connected to the extension and you can really clean high places.
It is water-cooled, it will never break down like an air-cooled one that will increase temperature during its short use. Powerful intensity. We washed the exterior walls and it was as if we painted the house. The marbles and tiles of the terrace floor became new. The liquid detergents are economical.
Confirmation in the rule "you get what you pay for". Tremendous power, incredible ease of cleaning. Especially with the turbo attachment, you can cause damage if you're not careful. I wash the car, the yard, the carpets, everything. The attachments seem very sturdy, a little expensive of course in price.
The pressure is high on floors (tiles, concrete) it does a lot of work until it throws off pieces if you persist, especially with the second attachment, so you can also cause damage if you're not careful. Overall, it is sufficient for car washing and saves time on many other tasks such as carpet cleaning. The foam attachment doesn't work wonders, I would say it's average. Its price is a bit steep but it has an aluminum pump and is very sturdy in construction, it also has a 3-year warranty from the company so you have that advantage. The noise compared to a no-name brand I had is much better. After using it for a considerable amount of time, I did not notice any increase in temperature or any other issues. So far, I am satisfied with my choice.
I had a Lavor (fast extra 145) and the differences are as follows:
1) Same bar but fewer watts: 145 bar/1900W instead of 145 bar/2100W of Karcher.
2) Terrible build quality. Completely fake plastic. But for 100 euros, it was good.
3) Significantly shorter hose: 4 meters instead of 8 meters of Karcher.
4) The nozzle could be adjusted rotationally almost like Karcher's, but it wouldn't stay in place when working, resulting in changing the spraying time. Only when it acquired salts over time, it stabilized. Until then, I had put insulation tape to hold it.
5) Within the first 10 days, I returned it because the gun was leaking. They replaced it, and a year later, the same issues occurred until the motor burned out and it was the end.
6) If you think Karcher is noisy, just try Lavor. It literally sounds like an old electric broom. When I put Karcher in front, I thought I had a hearing problem or that the motor wasn't working properly, and I was preparing to return it.
7) In the specifications, Karcher mentions that its motor is water-cooled. I think this is a big advantage, especially when you use it for a few hours.
8) Warranty for 1 year instead of Karcher's 2+1 (the extra year is only valid with a product declaration on the company's website).
9) A big advantage of Lavor is its price. Another 100 euros and another 280 euros. But, as known, you get what you pay for.
The k5 is very good for purchase at €280. It has good pressure and is also convenient. The only negative is the additional foam attachment that consumes too much material (car shampoo) and does not produce such good foam.
It shows quality... replaced a Bosch Aquatak 1200... 125 bar... 15 years old. It has better functionality, less vibrations, quieter... but it is not more powerful even though it should be based on their specifications. Anyway, it is sufficient for my household use... nothing extraordinary.

The machine is working fine... the gun had a difficulty from the beginning... to attach the nozzle... and to detach it... I mentioned it to the dealership some time ago... and they told me that they recognize there is an issue... and they replaced the gun in 3 days... now it works perfectly... very good... in the meantime... I ordered an adapter from AliExpress... and I also use the nozzles from my old Bosch... everything is fine... as time goes by, I appreciate it more... in the beginning, I was somewhat hesitant... I see that the price has also dropped online, so I highly recommend it
