DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and greater capacity than its predecessor.
Specifically, DDR4 offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, response times (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 16GB per memory unit.
For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the more size we choose and is supported by the motherboard, the better, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size in relation to speed (MT/s).
