It makes a very mediocre waffle (like the ones sold by Lidl in bags). It is essentially a sandwich maker with waffle-shaped plates. Disappointing. If you want legit waffles like the ones made outside, you probably need a machine with temperature control or silicone molds that you fill and put in the oven (or air fryer!). It's okay for breakfast... But if that's the case, just make a sandwich and be done with it
