I also have the older model. I use it from barely to fully. I have pushed it to the point where it gets so hot that you can't hold it with gloves, and nothing happened to it. I have rubbed endlessly, cut tiles, and removed bumps from concrete columns with a grinding disc, many 120 granite tiles, I made metal constructions, and I worked it at low and high speeds. A downside is the body, which is thinner than the previous one, but it doesn't suit me enough. It is satisfactory. For me, I will have it for a lifetime just like the previous one that I have had for 15 years, the same model. For its price, it is a good choice without having let me down.

We have bought three of these angle grinders (three different people - purchase from the same store).
Unfortunately, two of the grinders burned out the resistor.
Mine has so far escaped as I have used it only a few times.
The conclusion we reached is that in positions 1 and 2, you should do light work without putting pressure on the tool, while in positions 3 and above, you can work more safely even with a little more pressure.
I would not choose the same angle grinder again.
What a shame. It was the first Bosch that I proudly bought, I would say.
Perhaps a professional tool choice would have been more appropriate.

I have purchased it now for 5 months, on the 3rd use it started cutting tiles (it didn't cut a dozen tiles) and started emitting smoke from the motor. Complete disappointment

I had bought another model of Bosch, the 720w blue series. After 2 years, it broke down with a bearing and gear damage. I thought it was just a coincidence, so I bought this one and after 1 hour of use, two teeth from the transmission broke. I bought a Dewalt 1400w and realized what it means to have a professional tool. Not even a Chinese one would break so early.
