I used to change this product approximately every 3-4 years, but I have had this one for about 3 years now. It has covered kilometers of silicone and it still works. It leaks a little bit, but for 12 euros, I believe it is the best value for money!

I rate it as average and 3 out of 5 stars.

I am not satisfied. It takes a long time to initially heat up, over five minutes. It requires a lot of pressure on the trigger and the amount it dispenses is very small with each dose. No matter how long I let it heat up, I cannot use it to dispense a large amount quickly. Overall, it has a very slow flow.

Also, even though it is 60 watts, it is not ideal for high melting point silicone. In the accompanying leaflet, it states that the maximum temperature it reaches is 170°C, while there are high melting point silicone sticks that require around 190°C. If you consider how slow it is even with regular silicone...

It drips a little.

Mainly for use in crafts.

On the positive side, it has a low price and is lightweight.
