12/12/2024: I installed it today. Very well-made for its price and heavy. The pipe outlet is not 1 and 1/2" as stated, but slightly smaller, so you need additional fittings to adapt the pipe if you have 1 and 1/2", like I do. The float has good accuracy in on/off, much better than an external float pump. But it needs to sit on the ground vertically or hang in the well vertically. If it sits on the ground on its side, it doesn't stop working.
Important disadvantage: It makes a lot of noise during operation!!! Quite a bit louder noise compared to a Lidl pump, which is also connected. A Grundfos UNILIFT CC7-A1 that I was using before is almost silent.
I will come back again for an update
Unfortunately, I was so sure it would work that I installed it by cutting the cable to pass through a hole, so my warranty doesn't cover it, the supplier told me.
It worked constantly even without water. I threw it away as it was with the box.
It seems like a well-made construction for its price. The brochure is useless, nothing about how to adjust the float. It is described as having a 1 1/2" pipe outlet, but while the outlet has a 1 1/2" thread, the connecting tail is for 1 1/4" or 1" pipes. This means an additional 10 Euros to purchase the correct pipe connection fitting.
I will write only to help someone who is looking for a pump. First of all, for the money, the pump is special. Secondly, and most importantly, its built-in float (I have had this type of pump for about a decade and I won't change it) empties the water until the pump kicks in. The other thing with the cable, what nonsense? You struggle to adjust the cable, while with this one you just throw it in and that's it, and it even has an adjustment for the float. And guys, whoever buys a pump should use a hose with the maximum diameter; don't let them sell you a narrow one. I put it in a well, and it throws the water like a father. But as I said, for the money, it is special; it's not a top construction. Otherwise, there are similar ones from Metabo for 220 euros, which I bought about a decade ago for around 130 if I remember correctly.
Update: In the end, it burned out for no reason, and unfortunately, it didn't work particularly well... What a pity, it was a good case; I had to go and buy a good pump
I have it in a basement sump, I had an old pump that broke due to my negligence.
For now, it seems much better than the previous one, it has good construction and easy installation.
It has been working for twenty days, so I can't have an opinion on its durability, but due to its construction, I think it will be great.
