I have had them for a few months and so far they are perfect. I mainly use them for walking on rocks and mountains (summer). The sole is anatomical (ortholite), so they are durable and comfortable at the same time. What impressed me is that compared to other shoes of this kind, these do not slip on wet rocks, which is essential when fishing on the coast or hiking in the rain. Their size is slightly narrower than other brands. I wear size 44 1/2 in Adidas sports shoes, but I got size 45 in Salomon, so it would be good to get a slightly larger size than what you normally wear. The next test is their durability over time...

Sturdy shoe, without being too heavy. Although I got it in my size, during the descent from the mountain (4-5 hours), I felt my toes pressing against each other quite a bit, so I conclude that if it was half a size bigger, it would have had a better fit. Try it before you buy it.

Durable exterior, very good grip on rocks.

I got them mainly for hiking, but they are also comfortable for everyday use, without being heavy.
