Altazimuth mount
An altazimuth mount is the simplest type of telescope mount. Its name is a combination of the words "altitude" and "azimuth," meaning "height" and "azimuth." This type of mount performs up-down (altitude) and left-right (azimuth) movements.

Bad very low quality plastic and fragile.
And unfortunately, you can't see anything at all. I threw my money away. Like trying to see planets with a pin's nose.

I bought this telescope for 70 euros, which was its price without any discount a few years ago. For this price, 70 euros, it deserves 4 stars. However, for the current price of 160 euros, probably due to the increase in the price of glass and plastic, a rating of two stars is very fair.

A very good telescope for beginners. Don't expect to see like some photos on the internet, you will only see the moon as you expect. I have also seen planets like Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, but not in great detail. For example, on Jupiter, I see a white celestial body with stripes and three satellites. On Saturn, I see a celestial body with a ring. (It's better to watch a video on YouTube with this specific telescope so you won't be disappointed.)
It is worth the money and more, I can see the moon very clearly but I haven't seen any other planet, it might be my fault but with some spare parts you can definitely see everything.

I bought it for my daughter but I got hooked too. You can see everything in the sky and more. It's easy to set up and it's also nice as a decoration inside the house. I looked to buy different accessories to level it up but they are a bit expensive. The ones it comes with are enough for the basics, I believe. Beyond that, it's not worth bothering with for a long time. We saw everything and now it's embraced by the closet. It has a nice carrying case and as a telescope, it's worth its money.
An ideal telescope from a well-known and reputable company, specifically for someone who wants to take their first steps in astronomy, for terrestrial observations, or simply to give a very useful and beautiful gift to their children. It is lightweight and can be easily carried in the included carrying bag. The tripod is very practical and also lightweight, as expected. It is good for transportation, but some vibrations may be observed during large nighttime magnifications. If someone already has a good photographic tripod, they can easily set it up on top of it for more stable observations. A red-dot laser finder may be more useful for some, as it can be easily adjusted. Many people rush to buy cheaper, no-name Chinese telescopes that promise huge magnifications, but they are disappointed when they receive them and see what they actually offer. So, I believe that the Travel Scope 70 is what we call Entry Level and Value for Money (at €115 in 2017), as long as every potential buyer KNOWS THEIR REQUIREMENTS regarding what they expect and ask for from the product they are purchasing. What do I mean by this? I mean the beautifully colored but digitally processed photographs of planets and nebulae that you mainly see on the internet. There is no chance you will see them with this telescope, nor with more expensive models without suitable filters and eyepieces.
I rate it with 5 stars because for its price, it is awesome and also unique for its size. The tripod and the researcher are useless, while the 10mm eyepiece is not very good. This means that you will have to pay for extras. I recommend a good quality 4mm eyepiece that will give you 100 magnifications to see planets, a spotter researcher, and a good and stable photographic tripod (because astronomical telescopes require an extra base for this telescope). However, the best image results will be obtained with the included 20mm eyepiece, which shows amazing images in a wide field.
Up to 70x it works well, but beyond that it has noticeable color distortion. For urgent observations, it is good. With 30-40 euros more, one can get something better
For its price, it offers great satisfaction, but the travelscope 70 is the best investment for a very cheap telescope. The price difference is very small and it adds 40mm of focal length, which makes a significant difference. The tripod is the simplest there is, of course. Anyway, both are good telescopes for someone who doesn't have a big budget and wants to try or start observing the night sky. The good thing is that you can upgrade it with better accessories (from cheap to very expensive) for much better results, which of course you can keep for when and if you buy a better telescope. I regret getting the 50mm instead of the 70mm, but nevertheless, it is worth it and I enjoy it. Finally, don't forget that you see more when you are away from city lights and have good weather. If the sky is filled with stars and you know what you're looking for, you will be impressed.
We recently bought it for our 6-year-old son and we were very satisfied! The clarity of the moon's image is unique! Although beginners, the setup was very easy and locating the moon and planets was a breeze (with the help of a mobile app for the position of each planet). Note that the planets appear faint. We recommend it!
Good for its price (if you find it under €45) for beginners. Relatively clear image. Comes with several accessories (20mm, 12.5mm, 4mm, 1.5x, 3x) and relevant software for PC. Cheap plastic materials. The tripod is very lightweight, holds the telescope on a screw, and it's difficult to stabilize the image. Difficult to aim gently and progressively. The scope on the telescope is difficult to adjust. Easy to transport but does not have a case.
